Great for lining weight rack
Bought this and used it to line the bars of our weight rack at home. Significantly reduces the sound when putting dumbbells back on the rack (no more metal-on-metal clanging), which means someone doing sets early morning or late night doesn't wake up everyone else in the house. Durability has been good for us; I don't know how the strip would hold up in a public gym, but for us the strip has held up well through months of use.

Good strip, bad adhesive
The neoprene strip itself was exactly what I needed, however the adhesive is worthless. Thankfully the application for which I was using it allowed me to use hot glue to keep it in place which worked quite well.
