New Key Fob Shell Case Fit for Honda Keyless Entry Remote Key Housing Replacement with Screwdriver (2+1Button 2PCS)

This is my 2nd time buying this key fob replacement. As the other reviews mentioned, there is a finesse to getting the case together once you put the key and battery in it. After numerous tries and screams of frustration, it will go together like magic. Don't give up! This will only work if your battery is still good on the clicker. It's just a shell. It's not super long-term durable, so buying a fob cover, in addition to this, fixed that issue for me. Comes with all screws and tools needed for the replacement. Good value.

Very straight forward assembly of key into new fob. Perfect fit although a little different from original. Very sturdy feeling when reassembly is completed.

I ordered this one again because the last one was perfect. On the new one, the odd-shaped collar that the metal key slips through had a defect on one end that kept the case from closing correctly. Fortunately, I was able to use the old piece that slipped into place as expected.

these fit my '08 CRV keys perfectly. great product. my existing key fobs were cracked and in need of replacing. I couldn't ask for anything better. even came with a screw driver to switch them out. within 2 mins they were like brand new agin.

I’ve had to replace this key fob at least three times on my account and probably another three on my husband. It’s the only one they have for my make and model of car. First of all you can’t line the battery up and close it without it popping back open and there’s no way to stabilize the battery inside so once you do try to close it it either moves off of the spot it needs to be on or doesn’t stay together, so I have to superglue it. Meaning every time the battery goes dead i have to get a new one. it never lasts more than a month before I have to start rubber banding that shut or using superglue or just get a new one altogether because the battery has moved. There is only one screw to hold it together instead of one on either end so then I have to manually Unlock my door, which wears it out making the key and chip itself start bending. I would go to the dealership and have an actual good one made but that’s way too expensive for my budget as a single mother. So I’m stuck buying this piece of crap over and over and over. If I can give a zero star rating on every aspect, I would.

So glad I found your key fob cover! It fit like a glove and saved me a lot of money I didn’t want to pay the Honda dealership for a new car key! I highly recommend! A+++

I needed to file it in a few places to get it to work, the plastic sleeve that goes over the key had to be filed down to fit in the case. I also had to open up the screw hole to allow the screw to fit. In all I spent about 10 minutes with a small 4" file and a razer knife trimming and filing it. When all is said and done it works okay if you have the correct tools and a little aptitude for fitting things together.

It fits precisely. I feel the plastic material is a good quality.
