Works great, stays put
Works great, stays put... using it on textured tile with a fairly heavy shower head and it hasn't ever failed. Impressed by the device, but wish it was metal (even though the plastic seems fine). It took me a bit of time to get to know how to lock it in... the ring at the base needs to be twisted (CW) until it clicks to lock it in (and CCW to remove it). After awhile it becomes easy, but it threw me off at first. The suction cup is extremely supple and seems to stick well to textured tile. A great solution for moving the shower head position.

Save your money.
Save your money. This thing popped off the wall three days after it was put up. I, once again, cleaned the wall surface (fiber glass shower stall) and prepared to re install this thing. While twisting the unit to initiate the suction, the inside pice snapped. Twenty bucks down the drain.

Hard to give a review. It won't stick to my tile that isn't perfectly smooth. Tried it on glass and had difficulty getting it to stick there too.

Okay device, not thought out very well
The concept is simple but works astoundingly. With the Genexice device, the design works, but doesn't work all too well. For the concept to work, the air must be pulled out of the suction and locked in place. The Genexice operates through a screw type contraption, and while the product description, indicates that it "clicks" in place, there is no mechanism that would allow this. Device to "click." It's just a screw on to plastic press piece over the sucker. There should at least be a self locking nut or gasket. In terms of design, the Mama's shower head holder which uses an actual pulley style locking mechanism, that you know it works. Only question there would be if it was built shoddy.

A very important accessory for the handicapped
i had to buy this shower head holder that sticks on the wall to hold the shower head near my moms chair because she cant reach up high to remove the nozzle. The holder was 13 dollars. The entire Shower head with hose was 17 dollars, so the holder at 13 dollars seemed over priced. But it works well. For me, it was a very important item to purchase. Without this item, my mom could not use the shower.

I own two!
Very impressed with the suction and how well it adhered to the wall. Granted my wall is smooth. I had to readjust the position and could barely break the suction.

Lying about false product, and the generic knock-off version doesn't work...
Wish this was the product that was sent, maybe it would have worked. Instead I was sent something that resembles in a plain bag that had a white label with the word Genexice printed on it and nothing else (no instructions, no original packaging). The mount sent was so poorly designed it could not even hold itself up for more than a couple seconds (after following the push and twist method about 20 times) on any surface in my house (including the desired surface (tile) or even a mirror, let alone hold up a 2-5 pound shower head.In conclusion, whoever is selling this is lying about what they are selling, and the generic version they are selling does not work in the slightest. So... save yourself some hassle on working out a return and find something better now instead of 2 weeks from now like I have to.

Great
This works great. Stuck to the tub easily and it has been up for months without falling down. I use these in both of my showers as extra holders for the shower head so they are lower for my kids
