Sulphur Convenient Candles

Found it difficult to light

I expected this the sulphur candle to smoke more than it did, but once lit is continued to smoke for at least 2 hours and did a good job of fumigating our green house.

Filled my 10×6 greenhouse with smoke no bother.

Have to take care lighting it but then produces enough smoke to clean away any bugs

Light carefully- they just smoulder ( not like a candle). I’ve never had a problem in my greenhouse since I’ve been using these.

Had greenhouses for over 40years and used sulphur bombs every year in them. I lit this product at 5pm on 3/4/2023 on solid paving floor of greenhouse, checked if OK at approx. 6pm, all seemed to be working, smoking well. My wife went into kitchen to prepare supper and looked out of window to see the greenhouse on fire burning violently. I went out with hose pipe and it took 1 hour to douse flames and another to dampen down completely. The fire has destroyed the greenhouse and contents together with a storage box and large water but. I estimated total damage to approx.£950.00. Can I claim for this damage, help would be welcome. This is the first time I have used this particular product.

When I lit the paper it just burned out so had to put another wick in to the can this burnt down to nothing so left it until the morning and it had burned down and the can was empty all good but it took a long time to burn.

Bought it for my father to use in the greenhouse instead of an hours worth of Jeyes fluid effort. Time will tell if it worked in terms of killing all the nasties. Some people said that it's difficult to light but I didn't have a problem using a lighter. There isn't a wick - its a piece of paper that burns long enough to get the sulphur burning on its own.
