Makes great muffins!
I use this every week (combined with flaxseed meal and almond flour) to make muffins for my son who doesn't eat grains. The taste is nice. I did read some reviews that it's bitter, but have not found that to be the case. Walnuts do have a very slightly bitter taste; however, I think the problem may be that it got rancid if stored at room temperature for a while (I keep mine in the freezer with almond flour and flaxseed meal). I love the consistency. Walnuts have exceptional health benefits, especially for the brain.

walnut flour
“This brand of walnut/pecan flour is seriously impressive. It’s got a deep, full-bodied flavor that adds richness without being heavy, and the texture is smooth with just the right bit of heartiness. Perfect for guilt-free baking or boosting your favorite recipes—plus, it’s packed with nutrients so you feel good about every bite. Definitely a must-have for any healthy kitchen!”

Great Pie Crust.
I use this as my pie crust for my zero sugar chocolate pie. My husbands favorite. I am diabetic so the walnut lets me enjoy my pie. Price is good.

Not as sweet as almond flour.
I thought this would be a great addition to a keto diet, maybe for mug cakes. It has less sweetness so it requires more sweetener. The flavor is deeper, not as delicate as almond flour. I wasn't a fan, and I love walnuts. This would be great to dust cake pans with for cakes or cheesecake.

The taste is right, but the color is much darker than shown
So i need walnut flower for some euro cookies that I like to make and am tired of milling my own. The picture on this product shows the walnut flour to be a light brown with mild darker brown speckles, which is like what I mill. What was received was a whole different world of color, more like a granite sand beach with lots of very dark brown to almost black flecks throughout, making the cookies look like I made them with sandbox sand. The taste was a bit more astringent than regular too, almost had me wondering whether they were using black walnuts. So, though it is cheap, not sure if I am getting that good of a product

Great balance of omega 3 fatty acids.
I add it to my gluten free flour mix to increase protein and improve Omega 3/Omega 6 ratio.

Parfait en remplacement de la farine d'amande pour les intolérants. Je la combine souvent avec la farine de sésame pour adoucir le goût plus prononcé.

This walnut flipper arrived today, I tasted a tea spoon and it is bitter as hell! I tasted another spoonful, same. I wish AMAZON would have sellers write in the add NON refundable! Preferably first paragraph! What a rip off - $30 u useable food product. Please be aware rancid nuts are bad for you.
