BriteLite Pet LED Safety Dog Collar USB Rechargeable, Model 2015,

Finally I found a dog collar light that works! I have 3 dogs and we go out for a run every night after dark. I let them off leash in open fields. Collars are sturdy, well made and I like that you can choose a steady light, blinking fast or slow. Keep in mind the whole collar lights up not just a little single dangling ornament which pulls or drops off easy. Each dog has a different color for me to know where each is. I keep my little schnauzers pink collar blinking so I can spot her easier. She is older and hard of hearing. The 2 boxers I choose a steady red and blue. We walk the streets too. Cars at night see us coming. Like walking christmas tree lights. Ha This rechargeable collar is perfect. You can see them begin to dim. Get home and they recharge fast. I take them off after each run. It may seem a little high price but so worth it. I have lost or thrown away or spent so much money on replacement batteries for the little blinky lites over the years. I finally gave up until I saw this collar. What a great invention. I had one issue with the strand of lights not charging and the seller sent a new one immediately. They said this was very unusual. The weight and hardware on this collar is the same as you would put on an 80 pound dog. As a matter of fact it is the same as the one I purchased (from another company) for my 80 Lab. I purchased this for my 10 pound terrier. Seriously maybe make a smaller one for small dogs or stop telling people it will fit a dog that needs an 11" collar! I was sold by the photos of this collar on a Pom and a Maltese ... my dog is the same size so I figured if those folks were using it on their small dogs then so could I. Someone is pulling the wool over our eyes. Maybe someone who knows Barb Tyrrell is using their dog's photos.Barb Tyrrell from C. Concierge company told me I could reduce it down to 11" to fit my dog. HOWEVER she neglected to say that since my dog wore an 11" collar that their collars might be too big and bulky for my small dog.The collar on the left is the collar in this listing. The one on the right is my dog's collar. Big difference.

UPDATE: After posting the review about this product failing (I could NOT find an email address to contact the vendor directly), I was surprised to receive in the mail a NEW redesigned dog collar AND an explanation from the vendor C. Concierge as to the fact the original collars had some problems BUT had been redone and fixed as to the charging problem. I now have used the product several times and if it continues to preform in the fashion it is NOW performing---it will be the best 'flashing' dog collar I've ever had for my Doberman. I am VERY impressed with the fact that the C. Concierge did NOT make excuses, they simply REPLACED the faulty unit AT THEIR COST AND shipping expense. Too bad more vendors don't respond as quickly as C. Concierge did.Original post:bought this in November and used it OK for about 5 times, then the collar would NOT charge up. I followed all the instructions and never charged it more than 30 minutes at a time, but now it WILL not charge enough to light. I CAN charge in the charger AND it will light but the unit will NOT take a charge. I'm going back to the old 'replaceable' battery type as I can not find a way to contact the seller since the order is over 30 days ago.

This was really great, I have a small black Shih-Tzu and this was perfect for our night time walks. Worked great for two weeks. Then I go to charge it, let it charge for over 6 hours, and nothing. No longer works at all.Too bad, now to find something else.**EDITING TO ADD: I have returned it for a refund, but I got a very nice message from the seller telling me that they are sending me another, free of charge. I am impressed with the customer service and I definitely hope that this second one will last longer because it really is a great product. I am adding a couple more stars to my review because of this.He let me know that it should only be charged for an hour and over charging it is one of the things that makes it stop working.11/19: I got the second one a few days ago and it's great. I am very pleased with the company. I definitely recommend them.I'd love to add a photo but don't see a place to do so.

I received the collars fast and they worked great for the first week and we had so many compliments on them but nowI am actually having a problem with both of the collars. They worked great for the first week even though they do not wear them full time. Only for a couple hours in the evening is all they wear the collars. I followed the instructions on not charging for more than 30 minutes at a time. But now when I turn the collars on only about 2 inches closest to the module is lit up on both of them. Is there someway to fix this so that they light all the way around the collar and not just two inches? It is not like they were wearing them for extended periods of time just at dark so that we can see them outside on our farm.

Ordered a Large. Purpose is to put it on my 9 1/2 mo. black mixed Lab at night. Initial test (power on and off) and charging test seems no problem. Lights and its functions working good. LCD dot lights are very bright, but not overwhelming. The stationary light function can be brighten up or down. Material seems durable enough to withstand pulling by a large dog ( 75 lbs. or more). I don't think it's waterproof, but may withstand a little rain. I gave it a 4 star because the battery is inaccessible if wanted to be changed and the cover for the plug in unit to charge it is not permanently attached so it can easily get lost. Otherwise, it's very good overall.
