Swiss Premium Classic Gold Bar, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut, 10.6 oz (Pack of 5)

Lindt is a very common brand in continental Europe, but is considered as a good chocolate. I've tried the Lindt milk and hazelnut chocolates and both are absolutely delectable. It is creamy due to cocoa butter with a distinct taste of chocolate with 30% cocoa for the milk and hazelnut versions. There is no grit, aftertaste, overly sweet, or oily texture. It is a good quality chocolate with a neutral taste. This stuff really melts in your mouth as a good chocolate should. Even though it is manufactured in the US by Lindt, this chocolate has retained its European flavors and textures, and compares to the same versions I've bought while in Europe. There may be slight differences, but they are negligible or not noticeable. It is superior to Cadbury Dairy Milk made in the US by Hersheys, but at par with with Cadbury Dairy Milk made in the UK. It is also very much superior to Hershey's Symphony Creamy Milk and Dove Silky Smooth Milk Chocolate. If you want to try another milk chocolate that has 30-40% cocoa, but not a dark chocolate, I would suggest Karl Fazer from Finland which is also quite good. At this price, Lindt 300g bars are the best value.

Exceptionally good milk chocolate with hazelnuts. It seems that this one with the gold wrapper is actually made in Switzerland, where as the one with the blue wrapper may not be. I can taste the difference.

I bought this hazelnut bar previously at CVS, and it was chock full of whole hazelnuts. It was delicious! I bought 10 bars from this Amazon vender thinking I purchased the same delicious chocolate. I was so wrong! There's barely any hazelnuts in these bars. I spent $60 on Lindt's reputation and feel ripped off!

This chocolate is one of the BEST! It is very creamy and it just tasted great. It was delivered in a box, well protected inside with a bubble silver wrapping and a cold pack to stay cold. It was not melted or broken at all. I wish this exact item is available in any store worldwide.

Love the brand, I consider myself a connoisseur on this brand, I’ve never had a bad Lindt chocolate product. This was not right. It came to my home very well wrapped package of four large bars, But the product itself was waxy. Expiration date was not too close, but It was either stored improperly or just had too much paraffin. No outside smells, definitely a paraffin problem.

This is the same exact chocolate you'll get in the usual smaller size bars you might see in the market for $1.99 but this is a VERY large format bar, and you get a pack of 4 so keep in mind this is a lot of chocolate. Although you pay a premium (per oz) for the larger format bar over the smaller ones, the added thickness of the chocolate adds a subtle dimension that is missing from the smaller 4.4oz bars and so I prefer these 10.58 sized bars as a result. Plus the packaging is beautiful. NOTE that it isn't what's shown in the picture, but much more attractive; but still all in blue and gold. It could be just the 1 shipment I did get, and so maybe if you order this you will get the packaging as shown instead of the different packaging - but this is my first time ordering this particular chocolate bar online from Amazon. Still, I was very pleased to get the different packaging style, it is the same exact packaging I was used to seeing, from my first purchase of this same bar at Wegman's (a large grocery store similar to Bristol Farms) in Pennsylvania. That is the purchase that led me to get some more here online. These large bars make great gifts.
