Nice gift for a young boy!
Bought this for my 6-year old son for Christmas. Seems like something that will keep him occupied for a little while. :)

Real family fun!!
What a great gift! My Daughter and Son in law made this an adventure. They “kidnapped” a stuffed toy. Set the “crime scene”. 5 year old Daughter set up the crime scene tape, dusted for prints, tracked the shoes worn, recovered the stuffie and apprehended Daddy! Wonderful fun for the family!I will purchase again for Thanksgiving when we are all together and she will be our lead detective!

Unique game
What I like about this game is that it’s unique I don’t see it copying something else so it’s very much it’s own thing which I love.I have three kids but the two older ones are the ones I’ve played this with they are 8 and almost 7 and they both enjoyed it! So if your looking to expand your game nights and want something different with your kids this is it

parental guidance required, guide could use some work
Overall I like the idea of this product, but the guide, which is written in broken english as mentioned in other recent reviews undermines the product. With some ingredients labeled as not safe for handling by unsupervised children (which IS labeled as such on the product), it did make me a little nervous. We keep this out of reach of the kids and always work alongside them when we do an experiment.

Only played with once
My kiddo was really excited to get this for his 9th birthday. He only played with it once. It just didn’t fill hold his interest. He loves science experiments but didn’t find this set very fun. I wouldn’t recommend.

Perfect gift!
We gave this as a gift to two different 8 y.o. girls and they both loved it. There are several activities to keep them busy for hours. Great for any kid interested in spies, science, etc.

Great Kit for Kids and Parents
My kids, 7 and 4, both really enjoyed this kit. It did require adult assistance but they loved everything that came with the kit, especially the case files. Definitely a good choice for kids that like to solve mysteries!!
