Mens Red Goth Matrix Trench Coat Steampunk Gothic of Month

So I'm 6'3", and 260lbs. I ordered an xl, and it's got plenty of breathing room in the chest, the shoulders are a little tight, but that's to be expected with the style. When it came in there was some dirt dust on the jacket, but that wiped right off. The draw strings on the arms arnt knotted very well, so I had to redo the tie on each arm to be more secure, but that's just a minor inconvenience. All in all, I love this jacket. It's quite heavy, and will deff keep you very warm.

The size chart is not helpful when choosing which size. After looking at the chart and reading the reviews ended up getting a jacket two sizes bigger than the size I wear and when it came it was, of course, two sizes too big. I was able to send it back for a refund and I ordered a second jacket in my regular size which is large and it fit like a glove. It looks pretty badass. I didn't expect much for the price but was very pleasantly surprised by the workmanship and quality. All of the buckles and lacing are not just for looks. They all work and effect the look of the jacket as you adjust them. I was also worried that it would be a tacky cherry red but I'm very please that it is a very dark red. You can order this jacket without being worried.

I am 6'2" & 285 pounds. Ordered a 3XL, I typically wear 2XL or maybe 3XL for loose fit. While the length of the coat was good for sleeves and down just below beltline, it was VERY tight across the chest and was 2 inches short of making the zippers touch. Never going to be able to zip it up. Material feels nice, faux leather and attachments seem to be durable. gave it a 4 because I will fit a vest under the coat to work around the chest fit and the coat itself seems to be great quality, feels nice but I expect sketchy sizing from those Chinese vendors selling 20 dollar Assassin's Creed hoodies and a 6XL fits like an XL. I do not expect if from an Amazon product I paid over $130.00 USD for.

Overall it LOOKS fantastic! But the proportions are... wonky. First we got size medium which was way big all around, so we exchanged to Small thinking it wouldn't be too much different, but the mid section is still roomier like medium sized, however the sleeves are run smaller. It fits him better than the medium, comfortably for its intended use, but doesn't seem made for slender muscular men. It's like they are made for men with larger midsections and really wimpy arms. Lol

This is a surprisingly nice trench coat. As others have noted, it’s pretty well made, but of course it might not stand up to normal wear and tear - not that I would be normally wearing this! The color is a deep red or burgundy. These things from China are always difficult to size, so here's the "skinny," as it were. I ignored the chart in their pictures – whoever created it is smoking crack; none of the measurements make any sense – they look like boy’s sizes at best. The Amazon size chart is little better – it doesn’t match me in either the chest of the waist. I’m 6-1 and 210 lbs. Chest is 44-45”, waist 36 plus a fraction. Men, you and your significant others would consider me “normal looking,” and maybe suggest I lose 5-10 lbs at the most. I got the XL and it fits close to perfect in both the chest and the sleeve - I therefore marked this "fit as expected." I do note, as others have, that the bicep is a little tight. I thought maybe it was the corded binding, but that’s not the case. I’ve got decent but not huge biceps so this isn’t an anomaly. Although there’s decent breathing room in the chest, not sure I can wear more than a regular shirt under it (that is, no light jacket, although a vest should be OK). One star off because it’s got a somewhat rubbery smell that hasn’t faded after 24 hours out of the bag (not horrible, but something you might notice).

These run slightly big. I’m 6’x, 235, muscular built, but not a pure body builder. Jacket in Large is slightly tight in the bicep (18”) and slightly in shoulder, but I can easily wear it all night. Kind fits like a slim suit jacket. I knew large would be slightly snug on me, but that’s the look I intended. XL would be comfortable daily I imagine, but looser looking than I wanted. I ordered one of these for me and my boyfriend, going as matching but not identical steampunk characters for his first Halloween in the USA. He's got a very small build and the XS fits him perfectly. It was shipped incredibly fast, looks great and definitely has a nice non-costumey feel about it. I'm very happy with his and mine. As other reviewers have stated, it's smaller through the arms but since my boyfriend is thin, it actually fit him perfectly (as I said). I did buy him a Small originally but it was too big and had a slight scuff on the lapel. This replacement one is wonderful. Mine was in excellent condition and well packaged as well. All in all, I was happy to buy a second one after seeing how great mine looked.

The coat is very nice but I received one which is too small for our needs - ordered 2XL received Large. After contacting the vendor our problem was solved after a couple of emails. Good customer service and no real complaints once the situation was corrected.
