Mediterranean Delight with Pomegranate & Pistachio, a special Turkish Delight (9 oz)

Not quite as good as what I had in Istanbul from the local tea shop, but still the best I’ve had in the USA!

It's good but I've had better. Packaging is not fancy if you care about that, and not pretty little even chunks, but it tastes strong and good. Very high ratio of nuts to goo. This is the kind of thing you buy for yourself rather than as a gift I think.

Wow! Tangy cranberry flavor packed with lots of fresh pistachio nuts, lightly coated to keep the pieces from sticking to each other. I can't say enough good things about this awesome Turkish Delight! When I was a child my family spent two years in the middle East, and I've been searching for a good Turkish Delight like I had back then. It took a while and I've been subjected to a range of product from poor to great, and this is the great one. I'm ordering more right now.

The flavor was excellent but the texture was not the soft velvety consistency expected from this delightful treat. My box was stale.

I bought a box of these a few weeks ago and liked them a lot, more than other similar desserts of this kind even. So I decided to stock up and buy one pomegranate box and two vanilla boxes and this order is completely different from the last one. The two vanilla boxes are insanely hard and less chewy and taste weird compared to the box I got the first week, they are practically inedible, and the pomegranate one had a tear in the plastic film over the tray of candies.

We just loved this Turkish delight! The pomegranate flavor is wonderful, slightly tart, and allays any cloying sweetness that one associates with the generally sugary treat! The pistachio ‹nuts give it just the right crunch. We couldn't stay away from it, and only wished we had ordered more than one box! Highly recommended!! Makes a delightful gift, or just save it for yourself and enjoy!

Ordered this because a friend and I were talking about the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, and wondered if Turkish Delight was even real. Turns out it is, and this stuff is amazing! I can see why that little punk sold out his siblings for it.
