Bought this for my 12 year old Daughter's Christmas and can't rate it highly enough. Book is so well laid out with fantastic diagrams/illustrations perfect for any budding young scientist to dip in and out of.

Interesting introduction to forensics. Well laid out. Good explanation of processes but not gruesome!I bought it for a six year old. It’s a bit old for her, I would think more suited to an eight year old. Recommended.

If you're interested in Forensics and want to get a grasp of the basics, this book is for you. If you're intermediate level or higher already, then give it a miss :D

My granddaughter,who is just 14 years old has told us she wants to make a career in Forensic Science.She will be attending a special summer school on Forensic Science for schoolchildren shortly.She rates this book highly and reckons it will give her an edge on the upcoming course!

The book is very well made and the paper is of high quality however on the front cover of the book it clearly states includes Free wallchart, i have checked the book over at least3 times, and there's NO wallchart with the book and for this reason i have given it 1 star

Text, images, printing, binding - all top class. Conforms to what we expect from the DK label.

I bought this book for my granddaughter who is interested on forensic science by way of encouraging this interest. She loved it! It covers a range of areas with simple, easy to follow instructions for conducting your own investigations, and explains each of the areas of forensics clearly. I had a quick read myself and was fascinated by what I learned.
