This thing is a winner
Love this thing - perfect on my teardrop camper. I rarely use the poles and just have the other end staked in the ground - creates privacy this way and since I’m only 5’1” it works perfectly for me set up this way. I’ve been in rain storms and had my electric bike completely sheltered by this awesome product. Use it every time now and it’s simple and quick to set up. Quality has held up / suction cups absolutely suck so plan to get better ones or use strong magnets.

versatile and compact
We use this to cover the back end of our teardrop camper. It works great to keep that part of the camper dry when it is raining outside. The last time we took it camping we had heavy thunderstorms and wind, and it held up really well. We also liked how compact it is when we store it. It's much smaller than other pop-up canopies. The only thing we didn't like were the suction cups for holding it to the trailer. One cup was deformed and didn't work at all. The other didn't hold to anything. The camper also comes with tie-downs which we used to secure the canopy to the trailer wheels. Those worked just fine. I would recommend this to anyone who wand a compact cover.

Provides good shade
I ordered this canopy to use at Scent Work dog trials. The poles that come with it are rather cheap, as well as the suction cups, one already broke. There is a small hole in the fabric as well. However, for what I need it for I will use my own current tent poles and suction cups purchased on Amazon previously. The tent itself was not too difficult to put together, by myself it took me about 35 minutes, that includes getting it on my vehicle. The “directions”, well don’t count on those, there is a nice man on YouTube, who put together a little video on this exact tent, and how to put it together. I suggest you look it up. There are some things in the bag that I am uncertain as to what they’re actually used for, but it’s of no matter to me. I hope it will work for what I need it for.

Worth every penny
This awning saved our recent week of offroad camping. It works really well as designed but we used it on the ground sideways (like a curved wall) to block the cold wind as we huddled around an LP firepit. Once staked down, it can handle an impressive amount of wind. I only wish we'd had another one to block the wind from 2 sides! It goes together in about 2 minutes and back down just as quick. It packs away nicely in a small bag. I replaced the cheapo guyline ropes with 550 cord and I haven't messed with the suction cups. I love the versatility. This trip wasn't the first time we used it but with a little creativity it really shined on a couple of cold, windy nights. Every other member of our group vowed to get one of their own before our next adventure.

Great for awning for an Aliner pop up trailer.
Using as an awning for Aliner Expedition trailer and works great. Large enough and seems to be made of pretty good material to last a long time.

Poor quality and damaged item sent to me.
I have a 5th Gen 4Runner and wanted a affordable temporary awning so we can get some shade while camping. First my item came without a box and only in the zippered bag you store it in. Then I noticed it looked as if it was used or assembled at one time due to the way the awning was folded. I bought it last minute so I didn’t have time to set it up to check it out. I get to my campsite and attempt to set it up. Each corner has a nylon black pocket sewn so you can insert the 2 poles into them for assembly. While with 4 corners I only had 3 pockets. They forgot to see on the 4th pocket and who ever had this before me cut the threads on the tent material so they could have a pocket to insert the pole. Well since I was already 3 hours from home and the sun was out and we were burning up I attempted to set it up. On the side that goes towards your vehicle they have suction cups to help keep it in place. These suction cups are of very poor quality and did not stay put at all even after cleaning the surface. Then to set up the 2 legs at the other end you need 2 people or else you’ll be fighting and wrestling this thing back and forth to hold it in place, try to put the weak aluminum stakes into the ground and adjust the cord. It took me about 45 minutes to an hour to finally get this set up. Take in mind I’ve been a Boy Scout my whole childhood and camp at least a dozen times a year in my current adult years, so I’m fully capable and familiar how to set up tents and tarps. Basically even if the pocket that was missing was there this product is good for temporary or very short term use.

Great until the wind hit.
Easy to put up, shade was nice, we could angle it when needed. The first time was used it was the only time. Right after we put it up on our camper galley, a storm came through the valley and trashed it. It flew up, guy lines coming out of the ground and flapped about in the torrential wind and rain. It was no match for the microburst. It was ripped and not salvageable at all. We bought a different shade tent to replace it.

It's a great awning!
I bought it to try out with my truck camper. It held up well in the heavy rain (though I had to manage it when water collected in it). The poles are sturdy, easy to set up and break down. It folded up easily to fit back into the carry bag. I like it well enough that I would buy it as a gift for camping family members. I will have to add extensions to the poles to make it high enough for my door to open and close if I want to situate the awning at the entrance to the camper. But placed off to the side it was easy to set up. It comes with suction cup attachments that can't work on my rig, but on a smooth surface of an SUV it should work fine. Overall I think it's a nice addition to my camp set up. I'm pleased with my purchase.
