SkyQ 4pcs RC 1/8 Scale Off Road Car Buggy RC Tires Tyre and Wheels for Redcat HSP HPI Black

This is a quick review/thoughts on skyQ RC 1/8 Scale off road tires/wheels. I have been running these tires on paved roads only doing speed runs using Arrma Typhon (v2) on 6S Lipo batteries. Batteries used are 2 x Lectron Pro 3S 5000mah 50c [6S total]. I have not tried on off-roads or any bashing / jumps as of this writing. Everything on typhon is stock except for the pinion, which is 18T (see photos included).I did several speed runs on Arrma Typhon (which is a superb bashing RC buggy btw) using these tires and reached between 68-72 mph (speed varies depending on the road and battery capacity left). Traction is good to great. Definitely better than stock dboots and Duratrax Lockup while Duratrax Bandito is a tad better, gets my motor warmer (about 5 - 8F) but faster (up to 75mph max). Temperatures I've run the above tires are all above 85F, mostly between 90 - 98F.Durability is good. It came 'unglued' which i like. I trust my own methods than stock glued tires. No problems whatsoever. Tire wear is great. I kind of like the sound the tire makes when sliding on concrete roads...and it made some people say 'wow' upon hearing it. The wheels look very nice and glossy, although it feels to be on the brittle side. I have not broken any one yet but I'd think it won't survive high jumps (again, i haven't tried it, it's just a hunch since it doesn't flex much). Oh and btw, tires DO BALLOON at over 60mph but not as bad as Duratrax Bandito.Overall, i'm happy with my purchase. It was a very good deal in my opinion. Again, above are my experiences when running on paved roads (not off-road).

I've run 4s and 6s on these tires without any issue. I run a Castle 1515 2200kv motor with a Mamba Monster X esc. They have been great on and off road for me

For the price these are great bashers with good looking rims I'll buy them again

Bought these for a Slash that I turned into a buggy (wing, body,17mm adapters...etc). I didn't want to spend a fortune on 1/8th buggy wheels to see if I like the conversion. These are great! The tire compound is a little stiff (will last longer so not a negative really), but the tread design is great. They worked very well on pavement, grass, and my local dirt track. My local dirt track is pretty loose and bumpy, but these held up great. Only place I could see these not working well would be on a proper groomed clay track. I would buy agaan. FYI: You will need to glue them before you run them.
