Very small. I can not think of a single place that this would help. This unit was placed in a 40 cubic ft. grow tent (2'X4'X5'). The humidity kept raising in spite of the fact that no water had been introduced for more than 4 days. The humidity in the tent reached 73% at 83 degrees and the "Powerful Petite" was only able to extract a 1/4 cup of water in 3 days. You could use it in your closet, if there is no damp clothing. You could us it in a bathroom as long as your not planning on using the shower, because this thing can't keep up. If this is big enough to get the job done then you really don't have a moisture problem.

Crap. Tried it for a safe room. Probably collects a quarter pint of water per day at 60-65 percent humidity. Brought the relative humidity of my 8x7 safe room down 2% in a week.

Be aware that this is a VERY small dehumidifier. It is really only suitable for a closet or a smalll bathroom, regardless of what the manufacturer claims.
