Excellent reference - especially for anyone working towards certification from the Board for Certification of Genealogists. It is not a book that you work through quickly, but if you really want to understand what and how you are documenting, this is the book for you. Helps a great deal when you have a resource and there is no clear example of how to cite it as a source in your research. I would highly recommend this as a resource to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of various types of documentation.

As always I am never disappointed in a Thomas Jones book. This book is a great guide for understanding the processes of documentation without all of the templates and extraneous information to totally confuse the subject. Thank you once again Thomas Jones for writing a wonderful book.

Genealogy
If you are thinking about becoming an accredited genealogist, you will need this book, along with others, for your reference library. I learned about how important it is to document your sources when you are researching your ancestors for yourself or for clients.
