This is my 5th printer from QIDI and bar none they are the best printers on the market today. All my x-max printers range from 2 years old to 5 months old and run 10 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week depending on order load and all have been as problem free as 3D printers get. What minor issues come up can be easily solved if you have some knowledge of 3D printers otherwise the contacts at QIDI are the most efficient. Response times are awesome and tech support is right on every time! Longest one of the printers was down (ribbon cable failure) was 3 days! For the money you can not go wrong with any QIDI product, great engineering and exceptional product support after the fact.

I have had this printer for a couple years, Prints good, but the parts are crazy expensive. Support is good at responding and It is pretty easy to use.

I would recommend the QIDI X-MAX Printer to anyone who wants top notch 3D prints (don't take my word for it -- take a look at just one of the quality prints made with this printer pictured on this review). Not only is the printer awesome but coupled with EXCEPTIONAL customer support and you can't go wrong. This printer is easy to operate (we actually purchased this printer for my High School Son), a breeze to load/change filament and the touch-screen panel makes it easy to load your files to print and generally navigate around the options. Any questions we have had since owning this printer have been answered very quickly by the QIDI Customer Support Team (thanks Linda!). We have also purchased additional extruders and general parts since owning this printer and all transactions with QIDI were purchased with ease and quickly delivered! I can't say enough about the exceptional Customer Support this company demonstrates (so rare in todays environment). Just recently, I inquired about a possible firmware update (since I've had the printer for some time) and my email response included the Firmware along with all instructions to update -- outstanding!!! Couldn't ask for anything more from a 3D printer or its manufacturer.

I love the qidi max, but it is my first 3 d printer. I had some issues with it in the beginning, but I believe that was on me. I had never taken apart a printer head before. It is really pretty simple, and all we have had to do was replace the nozzle and the teflon feed tube. At first I was tearing it all down just to clean out the plug. I get a plug about every 20 runs. I'm not sure if that is normal. By run, I mean that using the qidi software, I can put more then one item on the printer because it is pretty good size, and it will run all day. That's what I typically do, I run it for 6-12 hours a day, putting new designs on it. I love it.I had problems when I ran out of nozzles which are easy to replace then while replacing the nozzle, I broke the temperature sensor wire and since it is so tiny and fragile, I could not solder it back on. I quickly got in touch with [email protected]. It is under warranty and she shipped me a new head and she sent me an "updated newly designed head". I just put it in, and it seems to be working fine. I gave it a 4 because I had trouble initially with tech support. I didn't know how to contact them, or make a payment, to get my nozzles.I am very satisfied with this 3d printer, but I am very new to 3d printing. It worked right out of the box.

Buy yourself a printer that has cheap replaceable items. My printer will not longer reach temperature. Ive contacted support, they told me its the motherboard, ive replaced it, still no solution. Ive spent a crazy amount of money on this printer for parts that only QIDI sells, for a high price and I cannot fix my issue, I have a thousand dollar brick now. Save yourself from getting a headache and buy a well known name brand. This printer has been nothing but a nightmare.

worked great right out of the box. very minimal setup time. This is my first 3D printer and I am glad I got it. I have only had it for a little over one month. My first print came out really good considering that is was my first 3D print ever. Really easy to level the bed very good construction I was surprised how solid the printer was. All in all very happy so far.

This thing is terrible. Do not buy. Nothing but headaches. The filament to extruded design is so poor. The extruded does not continue pulling filament when traveling from front to back of printer.
