Meets all expectations, but...
First I will say that I have not used the rope yet in a recovery situation. That being said I have zero doubts about the durability and the ability to do what the the rope is designed to do. The rope is spliced well and the tapered end extends well into the rope so I have no worries that the end will fail. The stitching is fantastic and pulling weight and limits are labeled on the product with a serial number. My only negative is with the Cordura sheeth. The ends of the protective cover are carterized and raw. The rough ends of the burned nylon grab and pull at the ropes fiber. This leaves small frayed sections on the recovery rope itself. I would be concerned of this over time. The burned ends should be folded over to leave a smooth surface so that the sheet can easily move over the rope without catching on the nylon fibers. I would rate this a good 4.5 for that reason.

Awesome. Have used this to recover a full size ...
Awesome. Have used this to recover a full size SUV stuck to its axles in sand. Also full size pick-up high centered on a snow drift. Minimal shock and works great. Very satisfied.
