I am thoroughly enjoying this book. My advice to everyone is Read it.

I watched Pastor Black at the National Prayer Breakfast and was impressed with the message he gave , so I looked him up and watched several of his online sermons from various speaking engagements . They were all very helpful to me spiritually . So I bought this book , and it's a fantastic read , I made several notes on things I've found particularly interesting points he has made . I have bought 2 more to give as gifts to people I know , and plan to buy more . It makes a wonderful gift .

Chaplain Black's book addresses every fear and it's source that we endure on a daily basis, and he pulls the very passages of scripture that bear upon that very fear.It is a virtual handbook of godly living in a post -Christian society. There should be no fear in living for Christ and pointing the way to others.Chaplain Black demonstrates and gives us specific instructions for doing exactly that.

EXCELLENT book. I moved through the chapters more encouraged with each page turned. It is clear that Pastor Black has walked with the Lord through a remarkable journey of career, marriage/family and faith. His testimony is true and his words are encouraging to us. I especially liked the prayers at the end of each chapter. I copied many of them down for future use. I recommend this to any teenager (particularly young men) to read as they begin their post-high school journey.

I found this book Amazing, sobering and deeply empowering. The book is full of Biblical and common-sense instructions for peaceful living in the present pluralistic world views, where we all want to thrive within social belief and philosophies that are constantly in conflict. Anyone can learn much from Chaplain Black's experiences as the spiritual leader of one of the most polarized administration in American's History.

I don’t think this Chaplain can write A bad book!! His sermons are amazing and so are his books!

Chaplain Black has captured the essence of our spiritual strengths to face an increasingly unstable world. His principles and prayers are filled with scripture references that confirm who we are as Children of the Most High God. We are not just anyone, we have been given special tools to face the troubles we see on a daily basis.

A good book.

If you don't know how to pray effectively, get this book. Read it, do it.
