My Chip Carving Gold Edition Knives (3-knife Set)

Just received gold edition chip knife. Holding it I can tell it is way better then flex cut or the swiss made (I have both). Came with sample of ezboard. Thanks for quality product. Looking forward to years of use. Will buy modified knife when in stock.

Has a nice feel. Just getting ready to start learning how to chip carve, but appears to be a quality knife.

Well built, this is an easy knife to use. It came very sharp and it holds it's edge really well. It's comfortable in the hand.

They are very sharp, as chip carving knives should be, I recommend them.

The blade is very good but the handle is to small for my husbands hand, awkward to hold

I recently received the three knives in the Gold Edition Set. They come pre-sharpened (I tried them on the hair on the back of my hand ;o)), just ready to be used. And, sure enough, they are apt to do the job beautifully.The blades are full tang, fixed with brass rivets to the sturdy, light-colored eucalyptus handles. Thumb notches on either side of the handles of the cutting and modified knife make them usable by both right-handed and left-handed carvers. As a novelty, the stab knife, compared to the other two, has a good thumb rest at the end, necessary for the way this knife is used.The set is delivered in a nice wooden box, with a brass lock and the My Chip Carving logo branded in the lid.A perfect, affordable (Christmas) gift to unlock the wonderful world of chip carving!
