Mens Shoe Sole Bottom Cover for Dress Shoes - Anti Slip Rubberized Pads - Available in Clear Red & Black (Clear)

I recently bought a pair of Christian Louboutin's which I love, but didn't want to mar the signature red sole. I've seen other sole protectors that are red (the wrong shade), and other clear ones that are smooth. This product, by far is much better. The sole cover is clear, but with a pebble grain texture to add traction. The sole cover is very large, so I cut an egg shaped portion out for the front sole (I put it where the ball of the foot and toes contact the ground), and only the front half of the heel (the back half of the heel is rubber, so didn't need to cover that) and it has worked perfectly. I have worn these shoes very often, with minimal scuffing on the red sole-- 90% of the wear has been on the sole protector, which is easily cleaned by mild detergent. I had enough material left over to use for 2 other pair of shoes. Best product of this type that I've found. A note of caution- using the provided alcohol wipes can rub off any color/paint/dye from the original sole; I used a damp paper towel with a drop of mild dish detergent, and it worked perfectly.

I have used these on two pairs of women's shoes (loafers and oxfords), and they provide good, transparent grip to the shoe. The only downside is that after one wear, the outer edges have worn off already; however, the majority of the shoe is indeed being protected. They are a bit of a hassle, and I agree that using a boxcutter is certainly the easiest way to make a precise cut with these. I do believe they are a bit too expensive considering the subpar protection. I will probably use these sole covers more for the grip than for the protection of the shoe. I think going to the cobbler is overall a better option, though.

Excellet. I have been looking for this kind of shoe bottom cover and having hard time finding the right kind. i got a few pair of boots the sole are made of leather so kinda slippery. Attached this, now it's wearable without worry slipping.Easy to put on , just measure it right and cut and paste. I did heat the material before pasting on the sole.

Too Narrow for men's shoes.

its a great idea but it won't hold up too long, it started coming off after a 3 weeks of usagethe seller is amazing when i told him of my issue he refunded full purchase price.

Provided better grip than the leather sole, but still not enough grip as a rubber sole shoe. I still slip on occasion.

I wish these were a bit thicker.
