Liquitex Professional Spray Paint, 12-oz (400ml), Quinacridone Magenta 6

I’m jealous of my time, so I can’t believe I’m writing a review for spray paint, but here I am. This stuff exceeded my expectations by so much that I need to say something publicly. I can remember a time, unfortunately long gone, when spray paint worked as expected: shake the can, push the button and a steady stream of paint flowed from the can. I have bought many brands of spray paint in many different formulations. Almost without exception, the spray clogged and dripped paint on my fingers, or marred the finish with blobs of paint. The fancy nozzles were nearly impossible to re-use, even after blowing them clean with propellant and immediately placing them in a jar of paint thinner. The Liquitex product, specifically the Cad Orange Hue product, worked flawlessly. I couldn’t believe the performance. The spay flow was consistent, predictable and without blobs. Coverage was excellent. The high visibility color was exactly what I wanted. I bought two cans expecting poor coverage, but the coverage was unusually good, so I used only half a can. Later when I touched up some spots, the nozzle inserted easily back into the can and sprayed like new. Amazing. I’m impressed by this product. While many consumer products have improved over time, spray paint quality has radically decreased over the years. This product is an exception. It's better that any other spray product I’ve used in the last 20 years. In fact, it’s so good I’m taking time from other pressing tasks to praise them. Well done, Liquitex. No, I was not paid for this review. I have no connection to this company in any shape, form or fashion. I am simply a grateful customer who would like others to know about a product that outperforms others to the point that they have reset the performance bar.

Great color to attract attention!! There is a small step up on my front sidewalk to my house door and I noticed over a period of time that most delivery persons are too busy finalizing the delivery on their I-phone and miss the step. Artfully spray painted the step with the fluorescent yellow so it cannot be missed coming and going to ensure a safe delivery. Great quality coverage and fast drying with only 2 coats. The paint went on smoothly, easily and presented a smooth texture at a thickness that should last for a while. Great value as I had more in the spray can for touchups in the future!

Easy, non smelly, dried fast

I was looking for a white spray paint that I could use on foam board that wouldn't eat away at the foam. The coverage is great and very white, just like the paints. The adhesion was great and I only needed a few passes to make the area opaque. It dries fairly quickly and could easily make a few coats in about 1-2 hours. At just under $15, it's fairly expensive, but for what it is, I think it's worth it. I wasn't able to find anything similar near me locally or at the home improvement store. Overall, I like the product and it works well, and definitely recommend it.

It is way easier to use for engraving than using Rustoleum. Need to coats or the engraving is inconsistent. Clean off with HOT water. Dishwasher didn’t work just made a mess. The paint comes out inconsistently, otherwise I’d rate it a 5.

The colors are fantastic, I paint with Liquitex on canvas and was so surprised how true to color this paint came out of the can. I have only spray painted with hardware products before, and they were so messy, smelled and felt toxic. These spray paints from Liquitex were awesome, no odor, no clogging, even distribution, I could guide the application of paint, more than I imagined. I only had to consider the wind! I bought the extra nozzles and the nozzle cleaner as I still had quite a bit of yellow Cad left over even after this pedestal was done with two coats, the second only lightly applied, then a sealer which brought the colors out beautifully. The Cobalt blue was stunning as well and I used very little. The little "topper" with the bird was painted, (all but the inside of the bowl, that was spray painted) with my tubes of Liquitex paints, when some had to be touched up, the colors were easily matched! I had so much fun with this project and the ease and beauty of the spray paints, I'm looking around to spray other objects too! Bonus is the clean up...almost none, I did wear gloves and eye glasses for protection, but the paint only got on the cardboard under the projects, and my trigger finger...also washed up with soap and water, just love this product!

The paint was not glossy. More of a mattress finish. The main trouble is that the paint has blue splotches in it. Like it splatters blue stuff on the item your painting. It was. Mixed/shaken for 2 or more minutes. Temperature was 70deg. The item painted was warm . The paint in can did not mix well at factory. I will have to spray with a clear coat to get it to a gloss. I'm just disappointed in the paint quality. It looks like I'm not the only one who has left a remark on the same problem. Lime green

Very good coverage, deep rich color. Goes on really easily and is a perfect match to the photo on Amazon. I’m so impressed with this, it was hard finding a color I liked in traditional stores and I found it here. This spray paint is amazing, will be back for some other projects!

Worked well. Recommend wearing a mask and using in a ventilated area.

Used a few of these tins to restore some garden chairs - they look like new now. Water based but seesm very hardwearing so far.
