REDLINE K-9 Nylon Dominant Dog Choke Collar Light Blue, 15 inch

I'm going to be honest- I don't use this is a dominant dog collar but rather as a simple slip collar because he cheerfully finds his way out of regular collars with ease. I just like the clip on this one for a quick on and off. For that reason, I ordered it a little larger than necessary and can't exactly comment on it's usefulness on an aggressive dog. However, it's well made and durable and doesn't catch on my dog's long coat so it works great for us.

I don't use one of these often, but this is a good collar to keep around for when you do need one.

Really LOVE this collar!I wanted something similar to a chain but with an exact size, so it doesn't slip down the neck. This is exactly that!It's well made, snazzy and practical.It does loosen up a bit so I would go 1-1/2 size smaller than your measurement to account for that.If you like using leads for the control, but want to use a double clip leash or long line, this is it.

This collar is great for dogs but after my walk yesterday I needed to make sure I bought more than one. I have a dopey 85 Lb mix dog that likes to “play” with other dogs she sees on our walk. Well she pulled and the collar snapped on a major intersection and I almost lost her. Thankfully she is smart enough or was scared enough to stop in her tracks and let me put her leash on the backup collar that I have for her (not this type of collar). I’ve had this one on her neck for a year so it may of just been time to change it up because other than yesterday it has been a great walking tool for us. Just make sure you switch it up after a while if your dog likes to pull.

I’ll be returning but not at the fault of the company. Read measurements directions. I ordered a 20 inch. I do want another one. Quality seems good and it was recommended from our trainer. Review is only to catch someone’s eye that might do what I did.

My dogs are in training classes and this was recommended by the trainers.

Fit perfectly because I measured my dogs neck 4 times to make sure I got the right length.The collar needs to have 2 inches of extra slack, and no more!Ignore the bad reviews where people obviously didn't measure their dogs neck properly.The quality is great with no loose threads.If you need a choke collar for training, this one is perfect.I bought a second one two months later because he grew out of the size I bought.Both are flawless.

Slips freely, very well made -perfect dominant dog collar.

Ordered the collar according to the measurement directions, but had to return it, as it was too small. The sizing instructions perhaps should instruct that the clip is included in the measurement. There were no issues when we returned the item. Reordered the next size up. Would recommend this product, and the company purchased from (Dog Sport Gear Canada). Great customer service.

Wow this really makes a difference. I wasn’t thrillled having to use “a choke collar” but my dog was an aggressive,unpredictable lunger. He is too strong for me to control so I needed a trading aid that would help us get through a walk without terrifying my neighbours and their pups.I walked with choke collar on a loose leash and it was only when my dog chose lunge towards a dog that he felt the choking effects of the leash. when he tried to throw himself at someone the leash would tighten up and I really didn’t anything but the hardware do it’s job.After three attempts to lunge my dog conceded that it wasn’t worth the discomfort.So now I purchased a slightly bigger choke to use just as a backup. I feel much safer and in control walking my dog now. I’m sure people could misuse this collar and it would be cruel if they yanked the dog around. But if done right, it’s a very effective trading tool..
