Dell Precision T7810 Workstation 2X Intel Xeon E5-2670 V3 2.3GHz 12-Core 128GB DDR4 Quadro NVS 315 480GB SSD, No Operating System (Renewed)

I bought this as a modeling and rendering computer for my wife, who runs her own small clothing business. I wasn’t sure what to expect so I ordered a similar one from a different vendor. This came early, specced as advertised, and in good packaging. Not excellent, but better than I was expecting and far better than the other vendor - good enough that I kept the packing materials for personal reuse. The computer ran fine when I received it, but I repasted the CPUs with Kryonaut thermal paste and it runs reasonably quiet under full dual socket load. The graphics card it comes with is sadly terrible, but it was the one they advertised so I can’t knock them for that. There are two free 6-pin pcie power connectors for expandability. I bought an older used NVIDIA P6000 to complete the build and it all runs beautifully. I’m glad this rebuilder sold this value workstation in good condition and shipped it well.

UPDATE 7/6/2021This server was everything I asked for. It even came with an activated Win10 Pro install, which I didnt expect. I didnt get a product card with the activation codes, so I had to do some checks to get the code it was activated with. all cores checked out, as did the memory. So if you want a good server for labs, check this one one.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Received my T7810 today from the seller. It was packed very well, but there were some small pieces that I had to fish out of the case though, not sure where they came from. I can tell that it's a used Server, however, it's not really that bad. I took some wipes to it to clean it off. Problem is that the video card doesn't use standard HDMI/DP/DVI connectors. I need to buy a DMS-59 to dual HDMI adapter cable to power it up on my monitors. Also it only comes with a single drive and caddy. If you want to add an additional drive, you will need to purchase an additional drive caddy. Giving it a 3 for now because I cant power it up to actually test it to see how it runs. I"ll update with more info when I am able to test.

For the most part, it works great.However, they tried to cover up a broken DIMM slot with a mismatched RAM configuration: 6 x 16GB Samsung + 1 x 32GB SK hynix.I only discovered the broken slot when I purchased an extra 2x16GB in an attempt tofix the configuration.

These computers are a bit older but came in very nice condition and have a high spec despite their age. I've purchased several of these now and never had a problem. They are packaged well with that kind of packing material that forms to the item in the box. Good seller and they ship out pretty fast (much faster than the delivery estimate on the add). In my case, they ship by FedEx within a few days of ordering.

this is great good config workstation, I am going to use for networking practice. I have received early but broken front cover completely. but working condition till now and same config as written. made some changes added Nvidia Quadro K4000 as for better performance and added extra SSD. Thanks

Ordered this workstation to use as a portable server for a network testing application. The price for the level of performance and features on this computer is really compelling. We received the unit and everything worked perfectly out of the box. It came without any damage of significant signs of wear. Installed Linux and installed a 10G NIC card and off we went. This is a solid unit, and the renewed price is really good for the level of performance

The media could not be loaded. The system arrived damaged. Strangely the box was not damaged but the computer was dented in at the bottom and the handle to the power supply was dented. The packaging wasn't very good but it wasn't clear that was the cause as the box wasn't dented. I was going to let it go as the aesthetics don't matter to me but when turning it on the power supply fans are making a loud sound. I don't really want to send it back but I also don't want to pay for a busted computer.Otherwise the computer arrived as described. It did come with a power cable and a connector for the weird video card but unfortunately it has VGA connectors not DVI, hdmi, or displayport.

Plenty of RAM and cores, replaced older Xeon WS I had, can't be complaining with this price. Scratch and dent outside, clean and no dust or smoke inside. Will likely use for many years.I added a 4TB SSD, otherwise all as packaged. Used my own Windows license, as BIOS does not have Windows key in it.
