I know absolutely nothing about building a drag car but took on this challenge as my boyfriend very much wants a drag car. I ordered this apprehensively because, again, I know as much about race cars as I do about brain surgery. Luckily, it did what he needed. It required some modifications to fit his foxbody Mustang and of course it has to be welded. Note: you can't stick weld it. You'll need a MIG welder (of which we are now proud owners). For what this review is worth, I feel like if you have found yourself buying a roll cage on Amazon, you probably know what you're doing; And if you know what you're doing, you should be just fine. 😁

I ordered this and discovered it does not come with main hoop, it has to be ordered separately. I ordered hoop for it to get canceled twice do to availability. Highly disappointed.

Missing the six weld joint gussets and six 6 inch x 6 inch x 1/8 inch steel mounting pads. Emailed the manufacturer and they were on it. Emailed me back within 8 hours the next day. And got the stuff in the mail. That’s what I call customer service.

Have use product before. Fine for what you need it for, BUT the photo in add should look like this to btter respresent.

I was surprised at the value, really nice workmanship, good quality, can’t wait to do it again

What was expected

Heavy duty. Nice item! My self taught 18 year old son installed/welded this item himself in his 1984 Chevy Camero
