This seems to work great for my goldfish and guppies. The flakes float on the water and do not sink for minutes at a time. The goldfish eat them from the surface and the leftovers drift in the water, where the guppies can eat. The fish look happy about the food and are very active for this food - going into a sort of eating spree. Be aware that this food does contain wheat as a conglomerate, but the first ingredient is salmon, so the fish are a bit carnivorous - but they do love this fish food.

I am sure this is a good quality food but my little goldfish likes the pellets made by the same company.

The flake size is perfect for my 3 to 4 inch goldfish. They eat every morsel. Water stays clear.
