Great puzzle, good quality, challenging but satisfying to complete.

Bought as a present for someone, already had bought one for myself.

The box this puzzle comes in is great, and it looks gorgeous. However, half the puzzle pieces had ridges on them, meaning they were badly cut. I was able to complete the puzzle, but the look of it was spoiled by the ridges, they are very noticeable. If you look at the bottom of the photo I have included, you can see what I mean. I love a gradient puzzle, but the piece quality definitely let this one down, and I dont think I will go on to purchase any of the others from this brand that were in my wish list. It's a pity, because the colours are stunning.

Quick to put it together but amazing experience

The item arrived quickly, so the service was good. But I'm disappointed with the product. I gave up after separating some of the edge pieces, as the quality of them was poor. The cutting is pretty rough and corners of many edge pieces are starting to curve as the layers are coming apart. I epxect that would get worse if the puzzle was made and then taken apart. I've just completed another Impozzipuzle and the quality of this one seems to be very inferior so I'll be sending it back.

I'm a bit of a jigsaw puzzle geek. I like puzzles with bright colors so this one really caught my attention. Wow, it was not as easy as I thought, after all, stripes of colors is pretty easy, right?? That mindset is all well and good until you start putting it together. The similar cuts and colors make it tricky. More than once I'd get a small section done but then have left over pieces in that color. Ahhh, look closely. Chances are the pieces aren't in the right places. It's very irritating when you put a puzzle together and find there is a missing piece of two. I had no missing pieces, in fact, I had an extra. :-)

Basics: - 1000 piece, true gradient puzzle - ribbon cut, traditional shape variety - some puzzle dust - comes sealed in a plastic bag in a cardboard box, with basic info on the box - medium piece thickness Pros: - matte finish - for the most part, obvious when pieces don't fit. Had a multi-layer "problem" section in the blues. - very few stuck together pieces in the bag Cons: - matte finish is missing (seems chipped) around edges of many pieces. See up close picture. Not too obvious when all assembled, but definitely present. - puzzle feel: pieces kind of "crunch" into place - the box is oddly proportioned for storing with other puzzle boxes. It's very long, narrow, and very thin. Good for doubling as a pieces tray though. Overall, the most special thing about this puzzle is its matte finish. It's not really spectacular in any other way, but it's not glaringly bad at anything either. It's priced a little higher than I would like, with shipping, but I enjoyed my time with this puzzle and am open to trying more of this brand.

Easy

This was a great gradient puzzle. It was the perfect difficulty ... challenging, but never frustrating. The piece quality was good and I never ended up with a piece in the wrong place. Just as good as the other popular gradient puzzles. Highly recommend it for any puzzle lover.
