I own 5 FAAY utensils now. They are light weight since they are made of teak, so they're not meant to be banged on edges of pots and pans. But they are great quality, designed with practicality and usefulness in mind. The spatula has a perfect angle, with a slight curve that makes stirring and turning foods in pans natural and effortless, unlike most spatulas that have a one dimensional angle. The cooking spoons are easy for my kids to help in the kitchen because of their light weight and smaller curves. Though I prefer heavier wooden spoons for use with cooking, FAAY wooden spoons are perfect as serving spoons and cooking lighter foods like broth based soups. And like all wooden utensils, wash before first use, then wash after first use, air dry completely, then oil and dry well. These will last for years, if you care for them properly.

I have purchased a lot of wooden spoons over the years. Some were too short, some too deep and some poor quality. These are so perfect...my quest is over! Mineral oil brought out the natural beauty of the wood and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. So, if you are looking for cooking utensils that satisfies all of the above issues, look no further. Easy to clean and love cooking with it. The spoon is my go to now for a lot that I cook.

As mentioned, I bought these to clean a skillet with. They will be used with coarse sea salt to clean the skillet. When they arrived they seem to be like pretty much any wooden spoon and spatula. If they are better or worse quality it won't matter for my purposes.

I was looking for a spatula and spoon for camping that are not made out of plastic and these where perfect. After washing and drying them I put on a layer of avocado oil which really brought out the beauty of the wood. They are light yet sturdy and are a great addition to my camp kitchen. Being a guy it takes a lot for me to be impressed with utensils, but these two really made me happy!

These utensils are a much nicer quality than I expected. Really smooth wood, no splits or splinters. After washing and drying them I sealed them with mineral oil and then beeswax wood balm and they are performing beautifully.

A piece of the spoon tip chipped off straight away just from using it to stir the porridge in the rice cooker which was a very low temperature and little stirring or resistance. Too bad as I liked the spoon too. Buit cant be eating pieces of wood chip as we go!!!

I have an old wooden ladle that needs to be replaced and this has the right slant which I have been looking for. Came nice and smooth but after a few washes, some parts have become rough. Might need to sandpaper it but nothing of concern. Happy with purchase.

They do not have the Faays logo imprinted on them unlike the ones shown in the Amazon picture. Am sure that they are imitation. For teakwood, the feel is light.
