Body-Solid Powerline Ab Board (PAB139X), 6-Pack Abs Machine Exercise Equipments for Strength Training Home Gym Workouts Bench

I spent way too long choosing which ab board / sit-up bench to buy, and even considered making my own. In the end I went with the PowerLine PAB139X and I am glad that I did.It arrived quickly thanks to Amazon Prime and was pretty well packed. There were a few painted pieces that had minor scuffs, but the company was smart enough to include touch-up paint. Also, two of the round roller pads had flat spots on them from being squashed (or is that squished?) in the box. I'm pretty picky so I called the company and they sent me 2 replacement pads with no questions asked. Putting it together was pretty much a no-brainer and took about 15 minutes.As for functionality, after I put it together I thought the bench looked a little small. However, I am a 5' 10" male (short legs and tall torso) and it fits me just fine. My head is at least 6 inches from the floor if I lay completely flat on the bench, so I am thinking this bench would work just fine for people up to 6' 3" or so. The ab bench is also very comfortable to use, and best of all is very stable with no movement even while fighting to get those last few sit-ups in.Overall I am very happy with this purchase and feel comfortable recommending it to others.If this review was helpful please click the "Yes" button below. Really nice, sturdy ab bench! Compact, no-nonsense, and almost gym quality in its stability. Paired with the awesome, no-assembly PowerLine Adjustable Bench (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000R11G2I) and a nice set of dumbbells (see photo), your home gym will be legit!Only issues are 1) plastic caps to hold foam pads in place and prevent scratching your legs pop out a lot and 2) one of the stability “feet” doesn’t fit completely over the bar on the base because of a raised plastic product label. I’ll probably remove that to get the foot on.Otherwise, it’s a high-quality product that seems like it will serve its intended purpose for years.

At first I was hesitant about purchasing this ab bench because having an extensive gym background I knew what good ab benches felt like when you performed a crunch, and this bench did not disappoint to say the very least. It allows for a great stretch on the lower abs, has enough room on the board for my back, and even though I'm not the biggest at 5'10 170 Lbs, not the smallest either,it is great. The bench was very easy and fast to build, and the foam rollers to protect the shins and legs are phenomenal quality. All in all great product for any home setting, or even gym, great workout.

Its built well and is plenty sturdy, probably as sturdy as some commercial benches I used but its jus not enough of a decline so its not like a natural sit up.. Myabe another 10 degree and it would be perfect.. Its kinda like sitting on your bed and having your kid holding your legs.. Was packaged nice and was at a low cost so I'm gonna keep it and use it just not gonna get the most out each rep..

I'm very pleased that I purchased this ab board rather than trying to save money on one of the lower priced ones. Very simple to assemble with only an adjustable wrench. All parts fitted together well and instructions were very clear. Once assembled, it is very sturdy and supports my 6'2" frame well. No wobbling at all while performing ab crunches.

I agonized about which ab board to purchase from the wide assortment Amazon offers. So many styles: So many prices. It turns out my decision to get the PowerLine PAB139X was the correct one. The item arrived a day early and was sufficiently packed. All the parts were present and fit together perfectly. My concerns about the cushion size turned out to be a non-issue for my frame (6'2", 180lb). Assembly was completed in 15 to 20 minutes and the well-constructed bench was ready for use. The manufacturer even includes touchup paint.I think this board was the perfect balance of price to quality.

I have a complete home gym full of Body Solid equipment including now this Powerline Ab bench. Amazon shipment was fast, and assembly took about 20 minutes. The quality seems to be good and so far have had no problems with it. My experience with Body Solid over the last 5 plus years has been great. They seem to make good quality products at reasonable prices. As always, Amazon had the best price! If you are looking for an ab bench and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a great choice.
