Schylling How to Make a Balloon Animals kit

Who doesn't love balloon animals? These are so fun. It makes learning how to make them very easy with their simple directions. Wouldn't recommend around little ones though, balloons do pop!

I need chemotherapy. Sometime the big chemo room is a bit grim. Balloon animals can bring a smile. And the person can choose the balloon color. The animals aren’t very difficult and jus the first animal, a dog, is all you really need.:

Balloon animal kit was a lot of fun for my 15 yr old step son. The only problem was a few of the balloons had holes in them and he ran out of balloons pretty fast. Otherwise it was good. I got him a larger air pump too so he didn't use the one that came with the kit.

The concept is good... instruction booklet, balloons and pump. The balloons are junk. They get holes when you put them on the pump and pop when you twist them. The pump is hard to use so I had to fill the the few balloons that survived for my daughter. I will try to purchase refill balloons made by a different company.

I was astounded at how much my almost 7 year old grandson LOVED this holiday gift. We worked together on the first few projects in the included, easy to follow book, so he could get the hang of it and soon he had to start giving his ballon animals away because he had made so many. The fact that other kids were delighted to get a balloon animal that he had made was a great confidence booster and he hopes to show off his new skill at the Farmers' Market when it opens in the spring. So glad I bought this because the big ticket item for Christmas was a bust.

My husband purchased this kit to provide entertainment for our kids on a 12+ hour car trip. The end result was perfect - my husband found a new trade as a balloon artist and my 4- and 6- year old were steered away from meltdowns many times. As for the kit, it needs improvements. The other reviewers are correct - the included balloons are useless. Every one of them popped after the first twist. Thankfully, we bought a bag of Qualatex balloons to go with it and they worked perfectly. The included book is very basic but useful. The pictures are black-and-white, but plentiful. It's an okay kit for a beginner; just make sure to get different balloons.

How can you keep from having a huge grin on your face when you are making balloon animals for your kids, grandkids, friends' kids, or hey, just for someone you love? This kit is a great way to start learning to make balloon animals! The instruction booklet is easy to follow, and the balloons are specifically for creating balloon animals - so they don't pop as easily as other balloons may. It's simple! Don't say "Oh I could never do that".. Give it a try! It is so much fun to put smiles on everyones' faces with something as simple as a balloon animal. :)

The animals and ideas in this book are very cute. However the instructions and pictures were poor. I purchased another balloon kit and found that kits beginning instructions and diagrams a lot easier to follow. So I practiced using the other kits instructions and then was able to make a lot of the animals in this book just from having experience on how to make the twist from the first kit. I couldn't get the pump to work. My husband could, but it ended up breaking after one day. The balloons must of sat in heat or something because they got sticky at the twist so if a twist moved a little bit it pulled a whole in the balloon causing all your hard work to deflate. Very fustrating. I even bought 2 bags of refill balloons made by the same company and they did the same thing

Pretty much what the description says. The directions are ok to follow the pump seems good. No problem with the balloons. Good starter kit.

Unfortunately half the balloons we got had holes in them. The pictures in book are useless, I found better instructions on internet. The balloon inflater is the only thing worth keeping.

Balloons are poor quality but it does the trick for kids
