Q: Does the bow come with rosin on the bow hair?

These bows are fresh from the workshop and have not been pre-rosined. Before you can start playing, you will need to apply rosin. To do so, turn the button screw at the bottom of the bow until the hairs have reached your desired tension. Then, take your resin cake and run it up and down the hairs 40-50 times, until you’ve reached your preferred amount. Now you can play with your new bow!

Q: Is this the same product that's sold in the Fiddlerman website?

I don't see anything under Viotti brand on Fiddlerman's website. I can say this is a fine bow at a very fair price.

Q: Can this bpw be used for Chinese Violin, the Erhu?

No. With the erhu, the bow goes between the two strings, so you need a bow that you can unattach and re.attach the hair.

Q: Can I use this for my 4/4 cello

No! Unfortunately cellos need a bow for their thicker strings and a violin bow needs to be really pushed down to produce proper sound on a cello, which could snap the bow entirely. Cello bows are much thicker at the front (where you hold it called the frog) and are bigger than a violin bow so it definitely won’t work at all on a cello.
