I was looking for a way to store a bunch of baby clothes that wasn't in the current totes. Come to find out, babies have lots of clothes and unlike me who has the same pair of pants for 10 years, he gets different clothes every couple of months. I had about 4 giant totes filled with clothes. These looked like a great way to store them.I'll start off by saying that I have a Shark Vacuum and the hose attachment fit perfectly onto these and sucked all the air up, without having to buy any attachments of any kind.However, I thought this came with 12 vacuum seal storage bags. It actually comes with EIGHT vacuum storage bags and FOUR travel roll up bags. The roll up bags are simply, you shove it full of stuff, then roll the air out, and zip it up. Not exactly what I was looking for but hey, I do travel so I'll just use them when I do.Still gets 5 stars because while these are not the name brand, they work just fine. Packed it full, sucked the air out and was able to fit a giant tote full of clothes into one large bag. I stacked a few bags on top of each other, and where I had 4 totes, I now have a very small pile of these bags. Significant space saver...

Prior to purchasing these, I had spent too much money on Ziplock's space saver bags. I was thrilled with the performance of the Ziplock bags, but not enough to spend so much for just a few bags. I was moving, my capital needed to go toward critical moving stuff. As always, Amazon has the answer: Boli 12-pack Wholesale Space Saver Bags. At that price, I was expecting thin plastic, shotty seams, or a leaky valve. What I had received were 12 individually packaged, well-crafted space saver bags of various sizes. Being me, the first thing I want to do it try to break 'em. I stuffed one of the larger bags with as many comforters as I could fit in there, and the seams held magnificently. Took the vacuum to the valve and sucked the bejeezus out of the bag, which went Schwartzchild Radius on me and collapsed to the size of an adult-medium t-shirt. That was four months ago. The comforters, being summer at the time of this writing, are still in the bag with no change. My season clothes are all neatly stored away, and had I a side of beef, it'd be stored in these bags. Certainly worth the price.

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but I was so frustrated and disgusted with the poor quality of these bags I felt like I had no choice. First of all, buying these knock-off Space Saver bags was a foolish mistake. I have used the real ones before and they are really nice. They work! They actually save space and do what they are supposed to do. Unfortunately that was a number of years ago when I was making more money and so I thought that I would buy these less expensive ones and save a few buck. Boy, do I ever regret making that decision. Talk about pieces of crap!These cheap ones were GARBAGE. Complete and utter. They actually arrived with holes in them like someone had slashed them with razor blades. I tried patching them up with tape and they STILL lost air! You do the vacuum thing with them, cover the valve, and then watch the bag expand again. Just doesn't work! Plus, they were made of super thin, stiff plastic. That just doesn't work well when you are trying to make something constrict inward around soft items. It needs to be a bit more durable and have some give to it, so it can fit around all of the grooves and wrinkles. These crappy bags did none of those things. I honestly cannot think of one good thing about them except for the fact that I can return them. So, there is that. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

The Boli bags are really great for conserving space..I would give you five stars only, nowhere did I see where it says that a portion of the "vacuum bags" weren't actually "vacuum" bags...that they are to be manually rolled to get the air out...I'm disabled and have one working hand, making rolling these impossible...so 1/3 of the bags are useless for me. If it is posted somewhere now, it should be made known right away prior to purchase that not all 12 bags are vacuum bags...thank you!!

This pack comes with a large variety of sizes. A vacuum is used for some of the bags and the other bags are supposed to have the air rolled out of them. I found the "rollng" type to be very difficult to use. I definitely preferred the vacuum suction. The zippers were fairly difficult to align. ,out of my storage bags were inflated an large a week later. I'm guessing after my numerous attempts, I must have still failed to get the zipper perfectly aligned.

I have better Space Bags, but paid more for them, so I guess you get what you pay for. The Jumbo one must have had a tear in it to begin with because it would not vacuum down, and when I picked it up with stuff in it, it ripped. One other one would not vacuum down, so I handled it gently and left it as is. The others so far have worked fine. For what you get for the price I would recommend this product. Just handle with care.

I ordered these bags after reading several reviews calling them "sturdy." They come nicely packaged in clearly marked with sizes in separate bags but the quality differs from one type to another. The first one I opened was a medium roll-up bag that is sturdy and doesn't leak. The next three all leaked, the next two had visible tears. They seem to be cellophane which is known to tear easily. I'm sending them back, I can't justify five out of twelve not working for 16.99. I've used large zip locks when I travel and they hold up very well and hold a seal much better but I'd hope to find a bigger bag like these.

Only downside is that one came with a small hole so it slowly inflates over time. The roll up bags don't work as advertised; the zipper has to remain open to get the air out. The one-way valve isn't letting the air out with the zipper closed. It still works well enough if you just leave the seal a bit open and then close it right after rolling it up.
