Lynk Kitchen Cabinet, Pantry and Closet Organizer Platinum Extra Shelf

I want to love the locking shelf unit - and I almost can. I bought this and the under shelf storage bin for shelves I keep in my mudroom. I need more storage there and thought splitting the space on the shelves was brilliant! These are a great color that matches my black shelves. They are very sturdy and good quality. My one ARG moment is something you can't see in the picture. I just didn't realize these are designed with under the shelf reinforcement. They don't just place on the shelf - there are arms that slide underneath the shelf to hold it in place. Unfortunately, on each side of the bottom arm is a perpendicular piece (it kind of looks like crossing a 't' - about two inches long. I get it, the purpose is to make it more sturdy and hold it in place. I'm using this on the Ikea Kallax shelves so there is only so much room. These two extra cross pieces simply don't work for me - they only allow the expandable shelf to expand so far. The picture doesn't show them because they are on the underside of the shelf. I had to slam them into place to work - because I love them! I want to love them, I want them to work because they'd be PERFECT if they fit. I thought about seeing if someone has a blow torch or some type of saw to get them off - and then realize that was so ridiculous...so I totally recommend them - even to try and see if they'd fit. Once you figure out how to lock them together - they are sturdy and a good flexible length. Just be prepared you may have to return them because of the two extra pieces on the bottom...

For the price, you get what you get. It clipped firmly to my 3/4 inch shelf, however - bought two - the bracket welds on the second one broke when I tried to install it. Returned and will not buy another. I am using it for clothing, and it seems sturdy enough for heavier items, but be aware that the shelf does not clip onto the brackets as the instructions advise. It just sits on top, which is annoying because if you bump it from below, it comes off the brackets.

This solved my issue of having limited closet space + too many articles of clothing.

I wouldn't have bought this had I known how wobbly it is. When extended to it fullest length, it becomes wobbly and slightly concave in the middle.I bought this to add ontop of my existing shoe rack. It attaches nicely, not so easy to set up, and not sturdy. Will not recommend this to anyone.

Other expandable shelfs leave you with a third "leg" which limits your usage of the bottom area. This item is fully open so much more flexible storage ability.

These have to attach underneath a shelf, it's not freestanding and won't work unless your shelf is the right width.

These are great for organizing your kitchen pantry. They hold a lot of weight and are very stable.

We did not realize that this shelf hooks on the bottom to another shelf. My son tried to bend the bottom hooks because it was not wide enough to go on our bookshelf but that didn't work too well. The shelf actually broke at the corner near the top and unless I can find someone to weld it together It is not usuable. So I guess I was disappointed. I will also be more careful when ordering. I think my daughter placed this order.

I bought three initially and would like more. They are sturdy and can hold heavy cans. Only problem is the shelf itself was not flat so unless you have heavy items it's going to stick up
