From ball of frizz to a decent looking blowout look! You just have to know what to use this for.
Update - added a star because: I used it this morning on my curly hair (that was a huge frizzy mess and had mousse in it). I turned up the temperature to 375 (had it on 350 first time around) and proceeded to brush it through my hair. As my hair became straighter, I went over those large areas again a bit more slowly and after about 15 minutes, my hair looks like I got a blowout (not an amazing blowout, but a decent blowout). I consider this pretty amazing nonetheless - for my particular hair. I have tried many times to blow out my own hair unsuccessfully. The self-blowout process would take at least a half hour, and it would still look horrible. The fact that I was able to go from messy frizzy curly hair to a decent looking blowout with a lot of body left in my hair is amazing! What I now do is use this on my curly hair only, and for added polish use an iron afterward. This is still faster than blowing out, and also lets you control where your hair falls without those awkward looking parts. My conclusion now is that this product is great for straightening, but for polishing up the hair and making it look perfect, another tool is necessary. Woohoo! So glad I gave this another try. My advice is to play with the temperature of this and use it in place of a blowdryer (but on dry hair only, so you need to airdry first)- but it will not replace a flatiron. Also, the cord is too short as I mentioned earlier - so for those two issues, docking a star.Original Review: I've been reading so much about straightening brushes that I COULD NOT WAIT to get my hands on one of these to try out. I have curly, frizzy, fine hair that I normally get blown out professionally. Oftentimes, especially on humid days, I will go over my blowout with a flatiron to smooth it out. I used this straightening brush for the first time on poufy blown out hair that just wasn't looking polished. First impression when opening the box is that this a beautiful item and comes with useful gloves (which I was too lazy to use, but good to use). What I first didn't like was that the cord was just too short. I am used to the cord length from my existing flatiron which allows me to plug it in and stand in front of the bedroom mirror. Unfortunately, this cord is too short for that. Now on to performance. This device heated up very quickly and was easy to figure out to how to use. However, it didn't do much for my hair. It did little in terms of smoothing my hair or making it appear more polished. I also was unable to give it a real twirl on the bottom. As long as you are careful, you will not burn your head or ears, however that doesn't really matter if it doesn't do much in terms of what I was looking for. Unfortunately, this product was just not for me, in terms of what I was really looking for - which was a quicker way of smoothing out my hair. I do think it would be a great option for my curly hair, when dry, to quickly straighten it down, and then go over it with a flatiron for desired effect, hence the three stars. It would cover a lot more ground, and damage hair less, than multiple passes with a very hot flatiron. There are many others that this seemed to work amazingly well for, so I'll definitely try to see if I can perfect a routine with it, and of course, if anything changes in terms of my impressions, I will update my review, as I always do.

This is the one you want, ladies!
This is a very nice straightener brush. The last one I got was a $20 cheapy off of ebay and while it worked fine, after a year or so, the tips at the end started to fall off. So when searching for a replacement, I was looking for one without tips that could break off. Not only does this lack the break off tips, but it heats up fast and does an even better job on my hair than the other one did. I'm very pleased!

Those hard bristles, though!!!!
Honestly, I’m a little disappointed. I watched the tutorials,I read the reviews and I think I had my hopes up, entirely too high. The packaging is nice and the brush looks great. It warms up quickly but the bristles are hard and so stiff that it’s painful to use. And I’m not tender headed. A co worker says the same thing about hers. If the company would redesign the brush with softer bristles, it would make using it much more comfortable. I think this is probably a better product for thicker, longer hair than mine. If you have short or thin hair, I’m not sure you’re going to be able to utilize this product to it’s potential.

Convenient and almost perfect
I was blessed with really fantastic combo hair: half straight, half wild/wavy/crazy. This makes for awkward random *almost* curls and straight spots in between. I really don't like how long it takes with my ceramic straightener. I loved the concept of this brush straightener. It really delivers! It's a tad tricky to get all the way up at the roots but the rest of my hair is straight and quickly too! This works well for convenience!

It had the same results like with my normal straightener-the good thing is that it ...
It's alright.I have really thick, coarse and only slightly wavy hair, so I was hoping it would make my hair pin straight. It had the same results like with my normal straightener-the good thing is that it heats up fast and it straightens my hair faster than it would with a normal straightener. Plus it had clips, a glove, and a fancy baggy to store it in.I would say get it if you want to achieve the usual results like with your regular straightener in a shorter amount of time.

LOVE. THIS. BRUSH.
I love this brush. I have never been a fan of straightening my hair, I have very thick red hair and it's a nightmare to straighten. It Was shocked when I used it the first time. My hair looked amazing. I only had to go over each section twice and it was smooth. It leaves me with NO FRIZZ! I will never use a flat iron again. It takes less then 10 minutes to do my whole head and I'm not a sweaty mess when I'm done. No arm fatigue at all with this baby. It heats up in less then 3 minutes and has an auto key lock so you don't mess with the settings while using. Highly recommend!

Works great, but as it claims m
I have been curious to try o of these after seeing reviews and videos. So I chose this brand.Works great, but as it claims m,it did not leave my hair silky like it states, even with using a heat protector spray it leaves my hair stiff and Crusty.Tried it with you without the spray I have, and changed temps. I have thick, coarse hair so I Used the setting it stated to, and trued turning it down also.still left my hair crusty and stiff. Furthest from silky.Glove is def. Not heat resistant but helps a lot.It did give me a more natural straight instead of a paper straight look which I love. I've used it a few times now,and will continue to use it.

So much better than a flat iron!
I lose patience with my hair in the morning, I don't have a lot of time. This not only takes less time than a flat iron it is so much easier to use. The results are better in less time. Five stars because it's awesome, hope it holds up well. It does have a year manufacture's warranty so that's good. So far very happy with this and love the results I get.
