I have PCOS and this is my first step towards Chinese medicine ( the alternative in western medicine at this time is hormone therapy).I do not take the full dose yet, slowly increasing day by day.I do find that it calm me down within minutes.Its lightened my severe cramps, which use to hit 8-9 on a scale form 1-10. I use to wish i was dead, thats how bad my cramps were.I don't take pain killers due to a sensitive GI system, so the only option is to ride it out.It wasn't common for me to just stay in bed for 2 days during my cycle.I've been taking this stuff for a month and a half now.It has brought the cramps down to about a 5 on the scale, with a few peaks of pain.I was actually able to go about my day!
