High quality manufacture, solid not flimsy at all, both ends look to be machined flats and align perfectly to 3" and 5" pipe for welding, no prep-work required for the cone. Being a cone shape this transition adapter can be cut to fit any size between 3 to 5 inches. I got this for an automotive project and am happy with the cone shape and stainless steel material.
