Far more versatile than most winter jackets, this 3-in-1 system features a zip-in fleece liner with Omni-HEAT™ thermal reflective warmth, and a seam-sealed shell backed by Omni-TECH™ waterproofing. Each piece works as an outer layer on its own during moderate conditions, or wear them together when you need the jacket’s full storm-fighting power.

Well worth every cent.
I bought this coat for walking in Michigan winters. A lot of below freezing days with wind. I found I stayed toasty and warm, even in 20mph winds with temps in the low 20's. Some reviews I read before I bought this coat complained about the sleeves being to long. I found this to be an advantage because I can take off my gloves and pull my hands up in the sleeves and they stay warm while being unencumbered with gloves. I have enjoyed Columbia shoes quite some time, both for golf and walking and the quality of their products was familiar to me. This coat has just added to that appreciation of their products. I also found the cost of the coat very reasonable compared to other brand name coats I looked at, especially Amazon's offering. I would/will recommend this coat to anyone who asks.

Very Nice Coat
First off, I don't consider this a "Jacket". I'm very much surprised that some of the reviews stating that the "COAT" is too light and thin. I Highly Disagree! Last year I purchased a Columbia rain "Jacket" or wind breaker. Great for rain showers, but has no warmth. I was afraid of two things: 1). The coat would be just like my rain/wind breaker but with a internal Liner. 2). I've purchased two other coats/jackets from Amazon in the past and both I had to send back because the mfg was using toddlers to size their coats. Meaning my jackets were over 2 sizes smaller than they should be.1). Wow was I wrong and my opinion this "COAT" is Definitely NOT a thin wind breaker as stated in the negative reviews. The material is medium thickness and Warm, without the inner Liner! I was Happily surprised.2). I'm a big guy and the size I ordered was 4X (yes that big!). It fit Perfectly!!The liner is very warm and easy to attached and detach in the jacket. Pockets are fine and large. I also like the hood which can be folded into the collar. I had a coat with a big hood which was a problem in a car. The head rest and hood was uncomfortable. Not with this one.Only Negative comment is that I agree with some of the reviews stating that the liner is longer than the coats sleeves. Which to me I just push under the sleeve, not a big deal. It's worth the cost I paid and I Highly Recommend it.

Grat Winter Jacket
Bought this during the Black Friday sale on amazon, and it is the best purchase I’ve made during those sales. This is a great winter jacket I used it in a -2 C weather with just a thermal under and didn’t feel the cold at all. Having the 2 in 1 is awesome because you can use the fleece while driving to the mountain and add the outer jacket while outside. In terms of sizing (M in my case), it’s a little bigger than you expect but I think it’s a perfect fit allowing you to wear more clothes under or giving you free movement without feeling heavy, I would say choose the size that you normally use for any other jacket, do not go under or higher. Finally the quality and looks of it is just incredible, the zippers are extremely well made which for me is a big plus and actually prefer Columbia over North Face because of that reason. Also i could find a single loose thread. I highly recommend this jacket!

Legit Item sold directly through Columbia
I'm glad I found this in a tall. There's a typo in the title of the item, but it's legit and sold directly through Columbia. This was the cheapest price I could find.I did EXTENSIVE research before I settled on this Jacket. It was between this and the North Face Carto Triclimate. I decided on the Bugaboo because it felt more comfortable to me and has much better water proofing. It's also cheaper... Great jacket. I recommend going to Dick's Sporting Goods or a local outdoor shop to try on these jackets to get the perfect fit. Just grab this or the North Face Carto Triclimate depending on which feels more comfortable to you personally.

Pretty good, but some drawbacks
For starters I don't think this would qualify as a heavy duty winter jacket if you live in a place where the temp goes below 30 degrees F. It's a very lightweight jacket and given how light it is it performs really well. However, the price for that lightness is that ultimately it just can't insulate as well as a more heavy winter jacket. However, for brief periods it's just fine even in very cold weather. The fact that it seals up at the wrists, the neck and the waist helps a lot.Very good lightweight performance but still short of being good for long stretches outdoors in very cold weather. The fit is a little bit odd. It puffs out in an unsightly way at the lower back (not sure why they cut it that way). Also I got the medium because it looks like it should fit my dimensions but the armholes are a close call. They are almost, but not quite, too small. With the zip in liner in place it's a bit of a struggle to get in and out of the jacket. I don't think I'd be able to wear anything heavy in addition to this jacket because my arms would not fit. Note I don't have gorilla arms but they're not pipe cleaners either; this jacket just has unusually narrow sleeves. I feel lucky that it's just barely large enough in the arms. You can size up but then you'll lose some of the benefit of having a fairly form fitting jacket and it may feel like it's hanging. I guess assume it's true to size but bear in mind you may have to squeeze your arm/shoulder in if you're at all muscular.Overall I think it's a nice jacket (I love the look of the plaid on the blue). Could have been a homerun if the sleeves were just a bit larger/wider and the waist was cinched in a bit. Then again that's the story of my clothes buying life, why can't the shoulders be larger and the waist smaller.

Good walking jacket
Great jacket. The omniheat reflective lining definitely makes the jacket warmer and I’ve been mostly impressed. The fleece also feels high quality and is a solid mid layer. Not as waterproof as Columbia’s outdry stuff or Gore-Tex (10000mm vs 20000 and 28000 respectively) so you might get a bit damp in a torrential downpour. Only real gripe is that the pockets soak through making the fleece hand warmers useless in the rain and leaves the contents a bit soggy. Can’t argue at this price point though. Size (medium) was as expected.

Great Quality
The quality is great, I missed the size and it was way to big for me.

No lift pass pocket
Item didn’t have an arm pocket for a lift pass!

Not great
The jacket has two or three major issues. The first issue, as everyone else has mentioned: is that the arms on the inner jacket are too long. It's a constant annoyance. The second issue is that those inner arms which are too long are not attached to the outer jacket - so when you pull your arm out it is likely you'll pull out the inner jacket as well. The third issue is that the zipper on this jacket is incredibly cheap. On day 2 it started malfunctioning. If you don't take the time to look down and carefully and gently align how this little zipper fits together - then it will screw up immediately. If you get past that initial part, then sometimes it jams further up near your chest. There is no worse feeling then not being able to get out of your jacket. This is the kind of zipper I'd expect on a change purse or children's clothing - it's not something that should be used on an adult winter jacket.
