Glide Gear GW100 Video Floor Track Dolly Tripod Swivel Cine Wheels

I used 4 sets to create a home made camera dolly. Good quality and smooth. I used them on 10' long chain link fence posts as rails that I picked up at the local hardware store and they work great.

This purchase required a 10mm - 1.50 drill and tap. I assumed it would mount into a 3/8 - 16 thread as had earlier purchases of these. Fortunately I was able to retap the holes made for and threaded 3/8 - 16. I measured the mounting bolt at a local hardware store and bought the proper tap. Then got lucky and didn't have to drill a new set of holes in my mounting plate. Recall the old advice, measure twice, cut once!

A very reasonable price for the product. I love that it comes with a carrying case. We do have to put our back seat down to fit it in our trunk but that's not a deal breaker. My one gripe with it is, even on flat surfaces, you have to be careful of the bolts that connect each pipe. They have to face down or else they'll bump the wheels. Wheels must be cleaned and maintained properly. Only issue we ran into was occasional squeaky wheels (do not use a rubbing alcohol solution) and if not cleaned regularly they'll get dirt on them that'll cause bumping. My 1st option was to use PVC pipe but I like having the option to use various lengths.

We paired a set of 3 of these with a ravelli tripod dolly to put on a track. Strong build, Smooth roll. VFX team was very happy with the results as it was easy to motion track in post - no bobbles.

I found them a little pricey, but they are worth it. I purchased 3 of these to fit onto a Ravelli tripod dolly. We ran them on 1" (1.5" outside diameter) schedule 40 PVC piping. We were able to mount a professional Manfrotto tripod with a 32 lbs camera rig onto the track and get some of the smoothest tracking shots I've seen. The crew initially laughed at my DYI track system but marveled at it after the shoot.

There is a pretty big but here. This is NOT a set of 3 as you would think when reading the description and looking at the picture. It is a SINGLE bracket holding the 4 wheels which connect onto a tube of some kind.... likely ABS pipes. So you need to order 3 of these for a tripod. Not the smoothest of mechanisms in my opinion. Sturdy metal and nuts and bolts but the wheels lack a smoothness that makes the purchase ideal. I'll keep the one I bought and pick up others from other sources closer by.

Très bonne fabrication de type professionnelle, bonne finition, roues fluides et silencieuses. Butée à billes au niveau de la fixation (très important) ce qui permet un roulage parfait sur rails courbes de diamètre 30mm ou 40mm.S'adapte parfaitement sur un support type Ravelli ATD dolly ou éventuellement un chariot. Idéal pour faire une dolly complète avec 3 ou 4 jeux. Je recommande ce produit pour sa qualité et son prix raisonnable.

Very disappointing the wheels don’t spin and are dinted makes for a bumpy move

Achat réalisé pour faire une mini dolly. Rien à dire sur la qualité de fabrication. Je regrette seulement l'absence de rondelle de blocage sur l'axe de rotation verticale. Je dû les faire réaliser car c'est introuvable dans le commerce.
