Okay, I made a mistake and purchased an 8-gauge shower curtain thinking that was heavy duty.....NOT! It was like Saran Wrap and did not hang with enough weight to keep it from flying up. So I went on a mission and found this curtain that is 12-gauge and is truly heavy duty; it hangs beautifully and has extra material on the two edges to allow you to wet your tile and adhere the shower curtain to both sides of the shower so it stays in place and prevents drafts coming in or water getting out. The one we purchased is clear because we wanted more light coming through than we had with the former "frosted" curtain. It is very durable and has been treated to prevent soap scum build up....it is the best shower curtain we have ever had. To add to it, we purchased the Titanker hooks which have an outside and inside hook; this allows you to hang the shower curtain inside the shower and a dressy curtain on the outside of the shower. The beauty is you can change the outer curtain at will without affecting the inside shower curtain on its on hook. With a single hook, you had to take the inner shower curtain off the hook to have access to the outer curtain....not convenient at all.

I've gone through 2 other liners before I finally found a winner! I love this shower curtain liners for mainly 2 reasons - The length and the weighted stones. I purchased the 72 x 84 size because I have tall bathroom walls. The length is great for my shower however I've learned that the longer the liner, the more it bellows and tries to stick to your skin from the air pressure in the shower. However the stones are perfect for weighting the liner down enough to prevent that from happening. I much prefer the stones over magnets because magnets will just stick to each other, most annoying! If you're looking for a nice quality, good length shower liner with out the ugly and useless magnets then look no further. I only wish there was a frosted or white color option because I'm a little worried about seeing soap scum since it is clear.

I don't write a lot of reviews but wanted to add my 2 cents for this shower curtain liner. Magnets don't work on my tub so I needed something with a bit of weight to keep from billowing while I showered, and this works well. There was a little bit of a smell out of the package, but it wasn't strong, or bad, and it faded fast. The thickness and the glass stones instead of magnets in the bottom kept the liner in place, and when I wet the end of it and 'sealed' it against the tile by the shower knobs, it stuck well to keep water off the floor outside the tub. I can't speak to the eco-friendliness of it, or how it holds up, or if it's mildew resistant, because it's still new, but so far I am very pleased with it for my needs.

Great quality. Just be advised - Super heavy duty vinyl = super heavy and doesn't fold/stack as easily when you go to move the curtain. There's added / unnecessary weight on the spring tension rod. The weight of this vinyl liner (12 gauge) is likely overkill. If it were thinner and lighter, it would better meet my needs. This one is so heavy duty, it's a little more work to move the shower curtain back and forth. Next time, I'll opt for thinner and lighter liner because the only real requirement is waterproof, and they're all waterproof.

The curtains sent are very clearly labelled a size different than what my purchase history shows I ordered, but they still work great. I like how crystal clear these curtains are when first hung! Beautiful! They become cloudy over time and after about a year have enough mold/mildew along the bottom edge that I change them out. The plastic is thick and sturdy enough that after I remove it from the shower, it works well as a tarp to kill weeds in the garden!

If you own a thin shower curtain that slowly makes you lose your sanity by it touching you, sticking to you while showering..... then get this shower curtain!!! I love this shower curtain!! I wish I would have purchased a heavy duty thick curtain years ago!! It reminds me of the heavy plastic curtain things you see on tv/movies of butcher shops when they walk in from the back to the front of their store. If you know you know lol.

After 3 tries finally found a clear shower curtain that is perfect for our shower. We have a small bathroom so we use a clear curtain to make the bathroom seem bigger. This one is made very well & the weights on the bottom are clear. Very happy.

The weights at the bottom and the heavy material are perfect. We had a tub to shower conversion done and the new water pressure was blowing the old shower liner out of the shower, this one keeps the water in the shower and off the floor.
