For the price, I'm super bummed with this book. I was expecting a legit learning experience. But it's not at all a workshop. What tiny part in the book that is teaching, is not well explained, doesn't go into detail and is honestly not even complete. This is really just a book about the artist and a gallery of her amazing work. It's definitely NOT a workshop. Don't expect to learn much or really anything about this craft. Still on the hunt for an actual textile course. I regret this purchase.

This book is wonderful - the pictures and illustrations are clear and very well done. The writing is pertinent to each subject and well written. There is a section in the book that provides specific, step by step instructions on how to create one of Ms. Bolton's designs. Lots to look at and lots to learn in this book!

Love this book! The backs of all my embroideries look less than perfect. This is the first book that says "So what?". The sampler in the back is a great reminder of stitches and the projects are all inspirational.

Beautifully presented work by this artist. This is my second book of her work. Absolutely charming and inspired. Step back in time when life was simple and lovely. Filled with images of children and adults in an idyllic world created by Janet Bolton.

I have most of her books.....and this one is very easy with great! great! patterns and instructions

What an interesting book - this is the first time I've seen Janet Bolton's work. I purchased it to encourage my granddaughters who like to make fabric items - I 'm not spontaneous enough to encourage their creativity - this book does, even for me.

Enjoyed this book but it did not inspire me to start a picture immediately but I think I will eventually.

Just the inspiration I needed to make pictures out of scraps of material left over from quilting. Everyone has their own style but Jane`s examples are a useful guide on a new creative path.

Love this book , not yet managed to make a picture, but it’s full of inspiration.

Having ttended a course with Janet Bolton this book is another source of inspiration.

Excellent book; great instructions. haven't yet tried to make a picture, just enjoying reading it at this point.

Smashing book especially if you area beginner like me has lots of inspiration and makes you create your own ideas
