I have the 440 G3 and ordered this by mistake. I didn't even notice that it wasn't a perfect fit for a week! The difference begins with the control key on the bottom right, but the rest of the cover matches perfectly. I searched but there is no equivalent cover for the G3 yet so I'm going to keep this one. The only cover made for the G3 that I can find is clear and more expensive. This one will protect my keyboard and works even though it's not exactly perfect.Update - This colored keyboard cover is holding up perfectly and I have received many complements on how nice it looks. I have had absolutely no problems with it not being an exact fit on a couple of the keys. My friend just ruined her laptop by spilling hot tea on the keyboard - she should have invested in one of these but instead, she's investing in a new computer.

This is a perfect fit. I received a HP 640 at work. I was bound and determined to keep the keyboard area clean, that I had planned to cover it with Saran Wrap! I have purchased keyboard skins for my Macs at home and just thought I'd see if such a thing existed for HPs and indeed they do and in colors! Do longer will I have to embarrassed when DeskTop Support quietly wonder what I do when I'm working from. I recommend this to anyone who's concerned about dust, food, dog hair and baking soda getting around the keys. People at work ask me where'd I get the skin and I happily tell them.

This may be the case for every keyboard cover, but it doesn't fit very "snug" so to speak so it make it difficult to type as fast as I normally do. I got the cover because I have a tendency to type really hard and some of the letters are wearing off, so I hoped this delayed that a bit. I just wasn't able to get comfortable using it and took it off. Nice color though and good quality

This product did not fit properly. It was correct for my laptop style. I couldn't get the dumb thing to stay on. I read some poor reviews on it before I bought it...lesson learned. I threw it in the trash.
