Great portable heater. Scary adapter/transformer.
Scary little device here. In Australia/New Zealand, it does fine to step down to 110 V. But it gets very hot, very fast. My friend asked to borrow it and I felt compelled to tell her not to leave it plugged in all night. I was afraid she'd burn down the building.Not well designed physically. It might work great plugged directly into a plug. But with any of the adapters, it becomes a huge, heavy block held in place by the prongs on the adapter. Needs something to keep the bottom out from the wall and therefore square.No fan means lots of heat not being dissipated. Should ship with oven mitts to protect your fingers.I much prefer the BESTEK® Portable charger universal adapter travel converter.

Watch out about three pronged U. S. plugs.
Most of my appliances were dual voltage since I had lived in the U. K. for ten years ealier in my working career. Even then the plugs sometimes had three prongs and I had to use the U. S. to U. S. to British to make it fit. My computer was dual volatge as well. Check on the A/C to D/C box and see if it says 110 - 240 volts. There will be no switch to push if it has the dash between the two sets of numbers. Didn't need any of the other plugs on this trip. When I lived in Germany, those plugs were much easier to adapt. Be sure you have the correct voltage converted or you'll blow out your American appliances.

Used this in Peru. The many outlet plugs came in real handy as each hotel has it's own outlet style. The transformer itself is a little bit heavy so depending on where the outlet is there is sometimes a need to brace the transformer or the article your plugging into it with something. All in all this voltage transformer works fantastically and feels like a quality piece. I don't think you'll find a better transformer for the money.

Bought this for travel to Australia and found the only thing I needed was the straight plug for my computer as an adapter works with everything. (recommend Tmvel Universal 2 in 1 USA to Australia/China Travel Plug Adapter). However, will bring it with me to other countries just in case I need it. The case is very heavy for travel.

Very happy to have it... many (many many) different attachments... will be a go to set when prepare to travel. After I bought it, I never used it... so I can only assume it will work as advertised

Horrible!!!
This product was horrible; it did not perform as was described. I was in Hong Kong and the first day I tried to use this for a flat iron, it allowed my flat iron to overheat (while the flat iron was on a low setting) and then short out. I now have to buy a new flat iron. Then, I used this converter the next couple of days with my blow dryer. On the 3rd day, I started to smell something burning. It was the converter itself!!!! The metal prongs that plug into the wall were melting into the plastic casing! I was better off putting my blow dryer on low and cold and using an adapter. Horrible!!!

Very heavy for the size, but works well.
As international luggage weight restrictions go, this item is quite heavy for what it is, but it does work fine. I wound up removing just the parts I needed and taking them separately, since a lot of the weight is from the heavy plastic case.

It is what I ordered.
The converter fit too loosely in the adapter. I had to take the adapter apart to adjust the inside to make a tighter fit. The adapter is very heavy. But all the parts that I need are there. For occasional use.
