Scosche MPDBASE-2PKBP0 Replacement Adhesive Base for MagicMount Pro Mounts - 2-Pack

I was looking for just the magnets to put on my new cell phone protectors. But all I could find is this package deal that has parts in it I don't need yet had to pay for. I want an assortment of magnets only I have all the mounts. Either amazon.com doesn't carry those anymore or Scosche did away with them to make more money for less. The adhesion is good, although on some cell phone protective covers the adhesive will not stick and has to be scraped off and a different glue needs to be used. But once on, the magnets are great. I have never had a phone pop off the mount no matter how rough the road.

So, I would recommend ordering this from the legit company’s website. The first one I originally bought in store had extreme suction. This one I ordered from this particular seller isn’t as strong of suction, it wiggles on my car dashboard quite a bit and I can hear the tape peeling off sometimes when I’m placing my phone in and off of it. Sometimes I wonder if third party sellers just get the crapo defective ones from the original companies to sell. It’s still stayed on for the past 3 months that I’ve had it, but I know it’ll fall off at some point. The one I bought from the original company I had to use a butter knife to get it off my car dashboard. I only ordered a second one because I switched cars and needed the replacement adhesive to stick it onto my new car’s dashboard.

These magnets are great! I own the black set and the rose gold. I was rather unimpressed by the paint quality on the rose gold however. I use the magnets frequently with my Polaris Ranger so the device it's attached to bounces around quite a bit. The paint on the rose gold plate wore off much faster than the black one. I've had both for the same amount of time.

I have an iPhone 7 Plus in rose gold with a clear case from Casetify. Therefore, I wanted to get something that would coordinate withe the rose gold, as opposed to having a black square on the back of my phone.The metal plate was easy to put between the case and the phone. I did this to test out the utility. Seemed easy enough, but the color is off (the plate is a bit more purple). The large plate didn't provide enough surface for the magnet to be effective either.Because this portion of the SCOSCHE assembly isn't what is supposed to HOLD the phone, I am not giving it one star.This will be promptly returned, along with the window mount.

It has a quality feel, like it will last a long time. I don’t know if it’s just really hard to match the Rose Gold iPhone color but this one doesn’t quite match. It’s very close, and at a glance looks about the same but the finish is different and the pink is darker and less saturated. Also, I appreciated having the protective film to stick to the back of the phone, but since I wanted to use the smaller plate, a large area of the film is showing. I’m not sure if I’ll continue using the film—I may use some painters tape that’s shaped like the plate or something. It would be better if a smaller film was also included that was roughly the same size as the smaller plate, for a cleaner look. Still glad to use it, but not quite what I had in mind.

I absolutely love this product. I first started using this brand about 3 years ago. So Scosche is a great brand. I'm really glad that they are making different color plates. The black really stuck out on the back of my phone. Now that they have the rose gold, it matches my phone case perfectly.

I ordered the replacement base for my phone mount. Easy to change out and install in my car. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality mobile phone mount for their car!

Looks great. We put ours under the case so that we can position to our liking and it doesn't detract from the case design. Since the case is transparent behind the design, this make the look seemless. Holds well on mutliple SCOSCHE mounts.

Oft ist das leider nicht der Fall bei passendem Zubehör, was die Geräte billig wirken lässt.In einer durchsichtigen Hülle kann man die Scheiben logischerweise trotzdem sehen, aber ich denke, das lässt sich nicht verhindern.
