Warm White LED Round Rope Lights 3/8 inch - 150 feet

I installed this rope light on my deck rails back in March 2015. April 2017, a few summer and winters later, the lights still work perfectly. No LEDs are out and the plastic tubing encasement is in good shape.UPDATE : May 2019 the lights went dark.. I think it was water leakage near the power connector that corroded the wiring. The plastic had become clouded and less flexible. But, it lasted ~4+ years (~3600 hours) installed on a deck exposed to the weather. They were turned-on an average of about 5 hours a day, (~8000 hours). I do like these and will replace them, but this time make the extra effort to seal the power connector with silicon RTV.

I used this light the in the crown moulding of a nine box coffered ceiling. I used light connectors from another supplier that fit 3/8 inch rope light with no problem. The rope light was cut into nine individual lengths without a problem. The rope light is also dimmable without issue using a Lutron dimmer control designed to be used with CFL bulbs. One thing to note when splicing this rope is that the direction of current flow as well as polarity must be observed for the lights to work even though the current supply is AC not DC. I used the whole roll and have no failures and all lights work well after splicing.

After being outside for a year or so, the clear plastic sleeving turned white which dims the brightness of the lights when on. I would probably try to look for another brand when I replace the ones I currently have.

For a large deck or patio this product worked great for long runs and when used with the channel raceway it makes for nice clean and quick installation. I had couple LEDs that appeared to not work, however, found that by twisting the rope where the LED was not working made it light up. Seller was quick to ship and responsive to questions.

These lights were used at our campground and I must say I am very disappointed. They did not even last the season and now at the end of the season we took them down, they all burned out anyway, and we threw them out. This was not worth the money.

Real garbage, I use led rope lite a lot and this stuff was the worst I ever used, sections kept burning out during installation. Had to make 6 splices in 125 feet.a real pain, I'll never use that brand again.

Great Product, lights up the area around our barn without being too bright.
