Please keep in mind that the PVC rope that the lights are encased in can be cut or damaged in many ways including but not limited to stepping on them which would expose electrical wires and cause a potential fire hazard should moisture get near the damaged area.

Send some spare connections
These lights are super bright and there were no gaps. The biggest drawback is the connector. It is not molded on the main end like many shorter ropes you buy. Consequently it is very subject to moisture and tension. My lights started flickering hours after I put them up. It turned out to be a poor connection. Whether we stressed it in putting them up or it came like that I can't say. Unfortunately the poor connection arc'd and fried the endof the rope and connector. It did a make-shift repair with an old connector I happened to have (unlike some rope lights that come with a couple of connectors so you can spit the rope - this comes with no extras) and will see if the seller will send my one or two new connectors.

Just what I was looking for
My blue led rope lights came in today with the spool. I haven't hung them yet but the color is awesome. I'm going to use them in a workshop for ambient lighting in the ceiling. When I plugged them in for the first time, it nearly blinded me the color was so clear and bright. These lights are not like the ones in the big box stores for Christmas lights although they certainly could be used for that. the tubing is clear but the lights themselves are blue like in the description. The cheaper lights just have blue tubing and aren't nearly as bright. My order arrived on time and I can't wait to hang them. I would highly recommend them.

BEAUTFUL BLUE BRIGHT LIGHTS!
Really bright blue lights. Was surprised at the difference in brightness between these and non-LED lights. For our purposes, we wanted to string lights as landscaping effects as well as use for a lighted pathway down the sidewalk; the non-LED lights -while pretty- did not light up the pathway so you really couldn't see where the step-ups were. With these, it lit up so nicely and bright enough so you can see the whole sidewalk but not so bright that it took away the ambiance.Seller was very prompt in shipping, and great to work with. We plan on ordering more very soon.

i loved it when I installed it around my deck it ...
i loved it when I installed it around my deck it really looked nice. but now its almost a yr later and the sun turned the rope white and in some areas it has rusted due to condensation we thought that was crazy!!!! not sure what to due next time around???

Brilliant blue light
Brilliant blue light. Looked really cool. But, like many other reviews, sections stopped working within a few days. I was given a refund, which was nice. As I was wrapping the lights back up to return the end fell off. They are just cheap. I took a shot, but like anything mass produced some are going to work and some aren't. Its too bad because they are super bright.

I do have to say that the LED blue lights were very pretty in color and brightness
Length was too much to handle for wrapping around posts and railings. When we got half up, half of the lights went out. We sent back and received a refund, then purchased several shorter lengths and it was much easier to work with. I do have to say that the LED blue lights were very pretty in color and brightness.

Worked beautifully for my home theater but the bulbs began dying almost as soon as I plugged them in. Probably 25% of the run was made up of 3'-5' dead spots within two weeks after I got it.

Cheap quality
These look great but stopped working after a few months. Cheap quality for Florida outdoor application.
