Q Standard Garage Fan - 18in., Model# 18923 [Misc.]

Fan were nearly packed with all required pieces. Went together easy and are working great. Nice air flow. I'm using them in a pump room and they make a big difference.

Great fan, relatively quiet, moves a lot of air. Great for our garage on those warm days or when we're cleaning tools & such with smelly chemicals. We use it when working at the workbench. Mounting instructions were poor, however. I'm still not convinced I've mounted it as it was intended to be by the manufacturer, but it works for us. Check out the various photos here on Amazon. You can see the bracket arm is mounted with the slanted part facing both down and up, depending upon which photo you view. The mounting bracket is very versatile and allows the fan to be aimed in virtually any direction. Up, down, left, right.... whichever! In summary, I like the fan and it works as intended. I only wish the manufacturer would have provided more detailed mounting instructions with detailed images for proper installation.

I was really hoping this fan would provide sufficient air flow in my garage, but it does not. Air flow is present about 3 feet from the face of the fan and that's it. I'm disappointed in the time and effort i spent putting this up. Now I have to take it all down to return it. I'm not in the fan making buisness, but as a consumer I would just save the money and buy a couple of box fans. They would do a way better job of pushing air. Perhaps if they change the fan blade it would make this a better product. My goal with this product was to save space in the very small garages that contractors build these days, but it will not happen with this product.

Great product, well worth the purchase price. All the parts were there, no damage, went together easily and man does it move air.

This fan pushes an incredible amount of air! It was easy to mount, though I needed a helper to hold the fan in place while bolting it to the arm. It does not come with any bolts to attach the mounting plate to the wall; that makes sense because it has instructions for masonry, concrete, drywall and wood. The power cord is 8 feet long and the pull chain is 3 feet. The only catch with it is that the fan does not rotate more than about 250 degrees around the arm, however the arm itself moves so it can get into corners pretty well anyway. Great fan for my garage!
