AV-12/2202 12V Portable Auto Vacuum Cleaner with Light

I read reviews before buying and knew it wasn't going to have a lot of power, but it really has no suction. There's a hose that attaches to it and I thought if I took the hose off and just applied the attachment straight to the vacuum as pictured that it would be a little more powerful. That was even worse because the canister kept coming apart so everything I had vacuumed up spilled out again. There's no "lock into position" switch so the canister constantly comes off. It defeats the purpose of vacuuming if it's just going to spill out in a new location.

I know it's only 12 volt, but it's very weak. Probably better to use the vacuum available at gas stations for your messes.

This vacuum is not very strong. It won't pick dirt very efficiently. It's below average. Additionally the filter is just like a sock. It will get dirty very quickly.

I just received this vacuum cleaner a day ago. What can i say. At first look i was disappointed. It looks so cheap, but after i tried to clean my car i changed my mind. It really does a job. It is powerful enough to pick up all dirt i had on my car carpet. After just 5 minutes my car was clean. For 10 dollars cannot ask for more. So far I am happy about it. There is one thing that sounds suspicious. On manual it is said that it is made from plastic which contains chemicals that may cause birth defects or reproduction problem according to California standards? it suggests to wash your hands after use? But i use gloves anyway so it is not a problem for me. This is why i give only 4 stars.

Good for cleaning your car. Can vacuum any place in your car. Small enough to keep in your car and easy to clean it.

Cheaply made. The light cover was broken off, the light is very dim and the suction is not substantial. You get what you pay for...

Don't like it at all, it do suction but, the filter does not catch the dirt and flows out from air went, making every thing messy. Not recommended.

It works OK, but when I read the little manual it says that it is subject to Proposition 65 Warning: "This product contains chemicals known in the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm" They ask you to wash your hands after handling. What I found more suspicious was that I was filling out the information to return it they said that because I was a great customer they will refund the money but that I did not need to return the item. So, that makes me think if they don't want it returned because they are just trying to get rid off this hazardous items or because I am really a good customer. I wonder if this have been an item with not warning at all!
