A few months ago, my time in the Marine Corps ended. One of the luxuries of the military was a very strict uniform code. For over four years I had no choice of how to wear my hair. I could sit down in a barber’s chair and receive the same style week after week. This saved me hours of pondering what cut to get. Soon after getting out, it all came crashing down. I went to the barber's three times and I had no idea what to say. I ended up running out of the shop humiliated with myself. My confidence quickly began to fade away. My girlfriend and I broke up because she couldn’t stand to be seen in public with me. She told me she refused to be with someone with low confidence and a horrible head of hair. I couldn’t keep up with my schoolwork because of the constant ridicule by students and professors alike. Sadly, I turned to alcohol. I spent two, short months drowning my sorrows in a whiskey-fueled binge. It was the only thing that could distract me from my predicament. One life changing Sunday, I logged onto my Amazon account. As I scrolled through the search results, I saw a suggested product. At that moment everything in my life just made sense. I saw a black trucker hat. Not just any trucker hat, this hat had an American flag patch on it. I clicked on the link and was amazed to see that this cap was customizable. I quickly selected my hat and placed it on order.The next four days were the longest of my life. I awoke every morning anticipating the arrival of my package. When it finally came in, on time I might add, I hugged the UPS woman. Unfortunately, she misinterpreted my drunken, aggressive notion and I ended up with a face full of pepper spray. Not even the fire of 1,000 jalapeno peppers could have ruined my day. I was given positive feedback instantaneously. My roommate Gustavo told me that I looked like a different person. I suddenly felt a boost of confidence. I went on a walk downtown and suddenly I was treated like a celebrity. Everywhere I went people were honking their horns at me, yelling, ”Sweet hat!” and, “You’re awesome!” I went to grab a burrito and the employees would not accept my payment. I went to a bar and five girls approached me immediately. They bought me beer and asked me for my phone number. I couldn’t believe the turn my life was taking. It has been a month since I bought my USA American Flag Patch Snapback Trucker Mesh Cap. It’s the best $16.87 I’ve ever spent. I wear it everywhere I go, and my life is flourishing because of it. I have four beautiful girlfriends. My beard seems to grow three times faster and twice as full. My food holds more flavor and my beer stays cooler. Everyone wants to be my friend. I owe it all to my hat. If you’re a full time veteran with no idea what to do with your newfound hair freedom this hat is just the product for you!

This is a nice quality trucker styled hat - meaning mesh in the back 2/3rds for a cooler feel. It is a one size fits all, but I would be surprised if a small headed person would fit this well without having to overlap the snap hole straps in the back. I have grown to like velcro over snap holes because it is easy to take off and connect to a backpack.This USA hat was made in China, I would have preferred a made in the USA. I eagerly await the day when Made in USA (or other countries) is an option on the Amazon search function.Update after few months:The hat fits great and looks great, but the flag is halfway off the front. It looks like it was ironed on and the sticky did not hold. So I got some light grey thread and sewed it on there. You could probably use fabric glue to hold it on as well.

This hat fits better than I thought it might. It is slightly tall and definitely has a trucker feel to it, but in a good way. It isn't the oddly shaped foam style material either. It has a nice slender shape to it and the bill is bent well. The bill in the picture looks long as well but is not. Hats are a tricky thing. Buying one without trying it on is a bit risky, but this one paid off for me. It may depend on your head size, id say mine is pretty average. Should you be a small headed fellow, you may want to steer clear of this one.

The hat overall is a bit small for a trucker hat. Not in how it fits on your head but in the actual size. It would probably look good on a 12 year old. On an adult, it simply does not.My main complaint is that it's shoddily put together. Now while I was aware the hat was simply a black trucker hat with an American flag patch glued on, I thought the patch would be centered and symmetrical. It looks like it was just eyeballed. Let me explain. The patch sits between two panels on the front of the hat, but unfortunately it's not centered. The left panel ends slightly under two inches from the patch, while the right side panel ends two and a half inches from the patch, making it look obviously not centered. If its a machine that puts these patches on it needs to be recalibrated, and if its a person, then they need a refresher course in how rulers work. The patch not being exactly centered makes the hat look lopsided when you wear it straight on, and there's nothing you can do about it. If you turn the hat ever so slightly so that the patch is centered then the bill is slightly to the side.I'd say that I could imagine when they get the patch centered that the hat looks good, and that you can roll the dice on whether you want to order and cross your fingers, but that's not true either because like the first thing I said, the size of the hat itself is a bit small. It would probably look good on a child, but on an adult it just doesn't work. Don't waste your money

Very please with this hat and it is a 5 star rating. But there is just one point I would remind this company is that there isn't any BLUE strip color marking just below the star field as I have found on my flag or other patches that I have. I took a Blue Sharpie accent marker and colored it myself which was what it should have been. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

Ok so im always skeptical about mesh hats due to my big ol waterhead... However!! This one actually fit and I wasn't on the last notch!! Great quality also!!

I like hats that don't lay flat on the head, and this hat rides just a little high and looks great. Although the hat is not for small heads.I'm very pleased with the looks, the construction and the price of this hat. In fact I'm going to order a few another one just for back up.
