I must say this is a very in depth look into what it takes to write a quality business plan. As a business owner, I have know that business plans are important but we never really put one together. Now, banks are requiring them so we had to learn quick. We found this book and it was a great read. Sam Brown gives some very practical advice on how to write a business plan to stand out and actually gives examples as to what to put in it. I also liked the fact that the book talked about more than just writing a business plan, it actually discussed what it takes to have a solid start up strategy. Eventhough we are not in the start up phase, the tips provided were very useful.

Anyone starting a business should read this book, Writing a Business Plan That Works by Sam A Brown. Even if you own your business, it might be a good idea to revisit these strategies. The author stresses that it is important to have a professional business plan especially if you are going to have investors. Mr. Brown even includes a sample one to get you started which I found incredibly helpful. There is advice on the key elements you need to include in your business plan like cash flow and marketing. This book was very easy to follow and I feel like I am already ahead of the curve with my business plan. Highly recommend

I’m undertaking my first entrepreneurial venture, and I had no clue how to effectively go about writing a business plan, and didn’t want to break the bank on learning how (need all the capital I can save for the business). This book was only 99 cents, and I was pleased with the breadth and quality of the information. It goes into detail the key elements of a plan, specific projections and analyses, and strategic advice on laying a firm foundation for your business. I would recommend to all entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Simplistic, but is easy to comprehend and more than your money's worth.

As a small business owner I'm telling you follow this book from beginning to end. Remember I speak from experience.
