Love it!
My 11 month old boy loves to ply with this book. Yes play! Itโs about the size he can flip throw around and bite. He does enjoy it when I read it to him. Loves the applecopter pic specially. We love Richard scary books! Go for it.

I should have paid more attention.
Weโre taking our first flight (east coast to west coast) with our two-year-old next week. Iโve been putting together activity kits to keep try to lessen dependence on the screen (๐ฅด๐). I thought one kit dedicated to travel, and specifically airplane travel would be good. When I saw the โpart of a set of twoโ I just assumed this was the companion to the paperback about airports. Unfortunately, itโs the companion to a board book about boats. This is definitely geared toward tiny babes- there are maybe two dozen words in the whole thing. At $5, thereโs no point in returning it. Now Iโm trying to decide if we just hand it down to a younger friend or bring it along and gift it to a stranger during our travels.Tl;dr:Only really suitable for a VERY young baby, and even then, itโs unlikely to remain interesting for long.

Two year old loves it
My two year old son loves this book. He studies the illustrations carefully, and points out every little detail. He carries around the book with him everywhere, even to the table for lunch. Good thing the book is a board book, because I can wipe it clean when he gets it dirty. I will order more books from the author because I know he will enjoy those too.

Love it!
Very cute book. Lots of little things to look at. It keeps my toddler busy for a while.

Disappointed.
The last time I looked, the category of airplanes didnt include a helicopter, a hot-air balloon, an apple copter, kites, Santa Bear's sleigh (good grief) or a parachute. Returning.

Just okay.
This book is just ok. If your little person really enjoys just looking at planes with no story..this is the book for you! My son can be content with it for a few minutes, and he really really loves planes. Im sure there are better plane books out there. But this one will do.

my boy is crazy for airplanes (up planes) and this book is great. perfect size for a 2yo, he turns the pages, we point to objects and colors and try to say the words. i come up with silly 2 sentence stories for each page.

Great!
Not a story - just pictures of different planes, but my 2 year old son loves planes and it was great to have on our 12 hour plane trip!

Anything by Richard Scarry Rocks!!
Anything by Richard Scarry Rocks!!Kids of all ages form 2-42 will LOVE Richard Scarry's books. They are ALWAYS colourful, witty, humourous and a delight for helping youngsters to learn about the world around them.My 2.5 yr old boy loves his RS 'Greatest Word Book Ever', and I have ordered additional copies for various nieces and nephews! The only minor, niggling complaint is the Americanised spelling and terminology; "faucet, color, meter-maid" etc. Surely the publishers could imprint a UK-English edition? Other than that, near perfect!

Very small and brief!!
I thought this was a full size storybook type Scarry, but disappointigly it is a toddler board book with very few thick pages and barely any text. My plane-mad 2 year old boy was only briefly interested in it.

Small, sweet book
Child-size. We love Richard Scarry books, and this one is a small, simple collection of planes.
