Great Scope, Allows grounding flexibility when checking circuits while using bench scopes too.
I've had a chance to use this scope for a while now and it has worked flawlessly and I'm very happy I made this purchase. One of my primary reasons for getting a handheld scope was so I could check signals using a different ground reference than I'm using with my other scopes. It definitely has come in handy for doing that. The scope also is nice looking with a solid quality feel. It comes with a nice case and good scope probes. I've run it through a pretty rigorous functional check with a two channel signal generator and then in regular circuit analysis and everything works well. The display is very readable so definitely no complaints there. The user interface buttons are very intuitive and I haven't even looked at the manual. You can just look at it and pretty much figure it out if your use to running scopes. One surprise is that I find myself using the meter function fairly often and didn't really expect to use it. It is especially useful for checking capacitance since it's easier to use and just as accurate as my LCR meter. There is a caveat to the ease of use though, I'm not using the stock meter probes I'm using Extech TL809 Electronic Test Lead Kit that I got here on Amazon. This lead kit has attachments for the ends of the probes for gripping components such as capacitors, diodes, or circuit components and makes component checking or circuit troubleshooting easier. Changing the multimeter probes is normal for me, I've done it for my bench and portable meter too.

Great value
I am a electrical hobbyist and I think this is an outstanding first scope. I've watched and researched as much as I could before purchasing. Taking floating measurements and ability to transport is a great feature that actually helps with my job. One surprise that I did not see in my research was the ability of the scope to produce trend plot recordings and store that data. It is an amazing feature to see real time fluctuation in voltages or amperage with graphing (in rush, under load, etc.) In addition to this scope I purchased hantek clamp meters that are ok for the price (I would look at fluke and meter adapters as well) and a differential probe that is a necessity for this scope being the channels are not isolated for sperate measurements of different voltages. There is quite a learning curve and limited resources on scope usage and additionally this scope. I find it user friendly and mostly self explanatory. Setting up the wide variety of triggering is one feature I have yet to fully master but rarely needed in my daily needs. The battery life during this honeymoon period is doing well. It's not much more than high end fluke meters and has more features than any meter I've had my hands on. The meter on the scope is very accurate next to my fluke with similar resolution readings. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Missing components
Ordered this scope for work, very nice size, but when it arrived the battery was missing. Am unable to source a battery anywhere for it, so the scope is completely useless

Fast oscilloscope, slow multimeter
Just got this oscilloscope today and spent the last couple of hours function checking everything, and comparing voltages and signals to other meters, and found that everything read quite accurately. But the multimeter was extremely slow responding, especially on "auto range" mode. It would take a full 3 seconds to read true. If the range was set manually it would take just over a second. Compared to my cheap Klien meters that read voltage almost instantaneously. If you were checking a row of terminals, for example, you'd have to keep the probe in contact for 3 seconds each. You'd think that a $500 100 mgz oscilloscope would have a faster basic meter function, but no. So minus one star for that.

Lots of great features... too bad they don't work reliably.
I primarily use this product for data logging multimeter readings. I have 2 of the units, both have the latest firmware that hasn't been updated in over a year. Both of them have issues with the logged data.Always: The dates do not increment at midnight, 6 days worth of data will all show up with the same date.Frequently: The scaling of the data values that are logged randomly changes. This can be seen on the included image, where the voltage of a 12V battery was being logged with a light load attached.Sometimes: the time stamps are shifted by anywhere from a few minutes to a half a day.Sometimes: the csv files that are written are completely blank. It's unfortunate that these issues render the units almost completely useless for data logging. As Siglent has not updated their firmware in a year, it's obvious that they are not intent on fixing these issues.
